LAS BRISAS BOY did too much too soon over 3m at Fairyhouse last Monday and is taken to come good back over shorter. No Big Deal was back on form when fourth at Gowran recently and heads the dangers along with G N Jefferson and Soldier Saint, who represents last year's winning yard.

Timeform Comments

Gatehouse Boy (FR)
Much improved when making a winning handicap debut at Limerick in May 2025. Struggled next 2 starts but showed he retains ability back from absence when fifth of 14 at Listowel (19f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Claims if he can build on that.
King Of The Greys (IRE)
Pulled up all 3 starts in handicaps. Can't make a case for.
Bearami Creek (IRE)
Won 19f handicap hurdle at Navan last autumn but was out of sorts when last seen in the spring.
No Big Deal (IRE)
Creditable fourth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Gowran (2½m, good to soft, 9/2) 11 days ago. Merits consideration.
Tuckmill (IRE)
Produced his most encouraging effort for some time when third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Navan (19f, good to soft) 24 days ago. Needs to show he can back that up now.
You Done Well (IRE)
Proving expensive to follow this season and he needs to shrug off below-par efforts last twice. Jack Kennedy rides.
G N Jefferson
Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, good third of 16 on handicap debut at Clonmel (2½m, good) 12 days ago, ending up with more to do than ideal. Respected.
Datzdjazz (IRE)
Thrice-raced maiden. 250/1, ninth of 15 in juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown (2¼m, good to soft). Off 9 months ahead of handicap debut. The betting should help guide to expectations.
Las Brisas Boy (IRE)
Runner-up in back-to-back handicaps at Sligo/Wexford in the summer. Well-held sixth on chase debut last month but looked back on form returned to hurdles when sixth at Fairyhouse latest (went for home too soon). Gets the vote.
Soldier Saint (IRE)
7/2, first run since leaving Mark McCrory when creditable fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m, good to soft) 4 days ago. His stable won this race last year.
Hidalgo Des Mottes (FR)
Long-standing maiden. Again found only one too good at Punchestown in June but 2 lesser runs have followed, albeit he may have needed it after 3 months off at Gowran 11 days ago.
Dunany Point (IRE)
Just one success from 21 starts. Returned to form when good second of 15 in handicap chase at Sligo last month but merely added to his patchy record when pulled up at Galway since.
Me Wee Nanny Fran (IRE)
No form, including pulled up when 100/1 on Listowel handicap debut 18 days ago. First-time blinkers need to spark major improvement.
Trixaboutmaisie (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Didn't improve for her reappearance (2m) when down the field on second handicap start at Wexford (3m), despite being much tighter in the betting than previously.
Leo Messy (IRE)
Low-mileage sort who has reached frame in handicaps at Cork (17f, good to soft) and Navan (19f, good to soft) in recent months. Likely to be in the shake-up again.
How Decc (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 20 starts and now back from another year off.
Mount Hotham (IRE)
Fairly useful form on Flat in France for Andre Fabre back in 2022. Off 3 years and has failed to get near in 10 starts over hurdles.
The Border Boy (IRE)
Cork handicap hurdle winner last summer but hasn't seriously threatened to add to his tally this time round, finishing eighth of 16 at Killarney (17f, good to soft) 9 days ago.
