Cypriot Diaspora
Back to winning ways at Ffos Las (7.5f) in August and has posted solid efforts when third at Haydock (7f) and Windsor (6f) since. Needs considering stepping back up in trip.
Francesi (IRE)
Had a busy and successful winter, winning 4 races, including at Newcastle in February. Off 6 months, ran well on a rare turf start when fourth of 14 in handicap at Newmarket (9f, good to firm) 24 days ago. Not out of things.
Up The Jazz (IRE)
Ended a long losing run at Musselburgh (1m) in June. Might have gone close to doubling his tally for the year with a better-judged ride at Carlisle (9f) in August, however, well held at Ayr and Redcar last 2 runs.
Dream Pirate
Course winner who registered his first all-weather success at Lingfield in January. Well held at Nottingham and Yarmouth since, though, and needs to hit the ground running after 5 months off.
Carolus Magnus (IRE)
Quirky sort who scored at Musselburgh (7f) in June. Posted another good effort there when second of 10 in 7f handicap last month. Can't be dismissed.
Oviedo (IRE)
Smart performer at best for previous stable and sparked back to life from a lowly mark in August when scoring twice at Ffos Las. Good second of 10 in handicap at Bath (1m, good to soft) last time, clear of rest. Not taken lightly nudged up 2 lb.
Law Of Design (IRE)
On a long losing sequence but shaping well of late, collared only late on when fifth of 14 in handicap at Redcar (1m, good to soft) 10 days ago. Weighted to go close off a 2 lb lower mark.
