Thirteen runs since last win in 2025 but he is knocking on the door, second for the fourth start running in handicap at Kempton (1½m) 8 days ago when conceding first run. Tongue strap goes on for first time and set to go well again.
Yokkell (IRE)
Well backed and gained a first win for current yard at Bath (11.5f) in July. However, well held next 3 starts, including when retried in cheekpieces.
Majd Al Kazem (FR)
Good third in 7f Catterick maiden last August. Below par in 3 handicaps since, tried hooded when seventh of 11 in handicap here (9.5f) 15 days ago. Tried over a much longer trip here.
Bradbury (IRE)
Not straightforward but recorded 1¼m wins at Leicester and Wetherby in June and gained a third success at Hamilton (9f, soft) in September. Below-par sixth of 9 at Redcar (1¼m, good to soft) 10 days ago but can't be ruled out if back on his A-game.
Midnight Media
Thriving this summer and scored twice over 1¼m here and at Nottingham. Shaped well when twice runner-up since here and badly hampered 1f out when fourth of 12 at Southwell (11f) 19 days ago. Remains one to be interested in.
Pipily
In good form without winning, not best drawn when fifth of 11 in handicap here (9.5f) 15 days ago. Not ruled out stepping up in trip.
Brodie's Boy (FR)
On a long losing run and he ended his time with Tony Carroll with a below-par seventh of 9 in handicap at Chepstow (1¼m, good to firm) in July. Needs this yard switch to spark a resurgence.
Charles Morin
Benefited from a good ride when ending losing run in classified event at Lingfield (1½m, all-weather) in August for Pat Phelan. Posted a good third of 9 on yard debut in handicap at Brighton (1½m, good) week ago. In the mix on tapeta debut.
Nymphaea
Finally opened her account at Nottingham in June and quickly doubled her tally back there (1¼m) in July. Posted a solid fourth of 6 in classified event at Yarmouth (11.5f, good) last time. Not out of things after a break.
Prophet Squeeze (IRE)
Quirky maiden who failed to back up a good C&D third when seventh of 9 in handicap at Brighton (1½m, good) week ago. Others appeal more.
Sueshine
Well held on all her 3 runs, tried in cheekpieces when last of 6 in maiden here (9.5f) in August. Blinkers go on for her handicap debut with plenty more required.
