SINGAPORE TRIP was well prepared to win at this track on return from a break a year ago and in top form over fences, he can pick up where he left off in the spring. Captain Cool has already had a very productive season and while things will start to get tougher, he can make his presence felt again in another small-field affair.

Can boast a pretty good strike rate throughout his career, responding really well for latest success in 7-runner contest at Stratford in June. Placed rivals that day both won next time and he gave another good account of himself when runner-up to Sir Tivo back there a month later.

Forged clear on the run-in when landing this race from 5 lb lower a year ago. Matched that form only once since (beat In The Air at Stratford in July) and he was brushed aside last month.
