GUARD YOUR DREAMS is on a nice mark, has a very good record fresh and represents a yard in flying form, so he ticks plenty of boxes. Nocte Volatus is next best ahead of Lord Accord.

Guard Your Dreams
Enhanced his excellent record fresh when winning a similar event at Warwick (2½m, soft) in February. Brought down at the first at the Cheltenham Festival next time before respectable fourth of 17 in the Veterans' Final at Haydock. Yard flying and big run expected on return.
Iron Bridge (IRE)
Finally ended a losing run at Haydock when last seen in April, though it's rarely pretty with him these days and it wasn't until late on that he took the runner-up's measure. Can go well fresh but still not an obvious type to follow up.
Fanion D'estruval (FR)
High-class in his prime for Venetia Williams but probably best watched after a mammoth absence for new yard (off over 3½ years and has had breathing operation since last run).
Nocte Volatus
Strong-travelling sort who looked as good as ever when winning a couple of veteran events back to back at Warwick/Sandown in a light campaign last season. Shortlisted.
Hold Your Fort (IRE)
Likeable sort who jumped well in front when resuming winning ways at Uttoxeter when last seen in July. Back on a career-high mark as a result, though, and he may need this.
Time To Bite (IRE)
Front runner who won a similar event at Fakenham in May and arrives here fit after a spell over hurdles (better over fences). NON RUNNER.
Lord Accord (IRE)
Forward-going sort who won off this mark at Fontwell around this time last year and should strip fitter for comeback run over hurdles.
Sherborne (IRE)
Better than ever when winning a couple of small-runner contests at Exeter/Ascot in the spring, though he struggled off revised mark final start and still has to prove he stays this far.
The Boola Boss (IRE)
Justified favouritism in the same race at Chepstow for the second year running in April. Undone by revised mark at Ffos Las following month, however. Yard's first runner since May.
Lermoos Legend
Won twice during the middle part of 2025 and knocking on the door this season, just edged out by a younger rival at Market Rasen last week. This more competitive.
