Timeform View

KNIGHTS CHARGE ran a cracker when narrowly denied on his handicap bow at Doncaster last month, forced to wait for a gap before quickening, and this lightly-raced colt returns to the C&D where he won in May. Open to further improvement, he looks sure to go well. Heyzoom is another interesting 3-y-o who could bounce back from a flop having shown solid form at Royal Ascot back in June, while Lady Roisia likely has more going for her than her form figures suggest.

Timeform Comments

Boyfriend
Previous course winner who is admirably consistent and he's made the frame both starts over this trip, including when fourth of 11 in a handicap at Newbury 25 days ago, not getting the clearest run. Enters calculations back down in grade.
Rogue Millions
Useful sort who won twice last year for James Owen and produced a respectable fifth of 11 in a handicap at Yarmouth on first outing since rejoining that yard from Edward Bethell 28 days ago. More required but won very well sole start on soft going so any rain will help.
Knights Charge (IRE)
Progressive colt who won on good to soft going over C&D in May and ran even better when second of 11 in a handicap at Doncaster 34 days ago, having to wait to make his challenge probably costing him the win, and he's open to further improvement so has really strong claims here.
Sir Hannibal (GER)
Won a 10-runner novice over this trip at Newmarket (good to firm going) 25 days ago on first start since leaving Paul Attwater and on return from 14 months off. Open to further progress but will need it making handicap debut in this company.
Harvey (FR)
Confirmed earlier promise when winning a 12-runner handicap at Doncaster over this trip in March, making smooth headway to lead entering the final furlong and just holding on. That race has worked out pretty well but market may prove best guide to expectations given he's returning from 199 days off.
Port Of London (IRE)
Dual all-weather winner towards the end of last year before 8-month absence but showed promise on turf when fifth of 12 in a handicap at Doncaster in September, stepping up considerably on his reappearance, so he needs taking seriously for top connections.
Heyzoom (IRE)
Won maiden at Newbury over this trip in May and subsequent fourth of 19 in handicap at Ascot over 1½m in June is working out well. He was gelded after, though, and recent return from 3 months off was a poor showing so needs to bounce back returned to this trip and with softer going to contend with.
Let's Dream
Multiple Chester scorer but has gone the wrong way from a winning reappearance, including down in selling company last time, so he's got plenty to prove back in a handicap.
Lady Roisia
Beat subsequent winner at this course a year ago but struggled when highly tried first 3 starts this year. Shaped better when fifth of 7 on handicap debut at Haydock in September, though, so this may be the right level for her and she needs considering.
Cuff It (FR)
Won a novice at Windsor in June but trailed in last of 16 in a handicap at York in August when having too much use made of him. Lightly raced but needs a lot more in this company.
Lucky Camino (IRE)
Largely steady rather than progressive since handicapping, finishing fourth of 11 over 1m at Hamilton Park 24 days ago. Ran poorly on previous outing at this trip and looks hard to fancy upped in grade.
