Timeform View

This is wide open. SHE'S ON THE BALL hasn't looked back since fitted with a tongue strap and is fancied to quickly resume winning ways following an excellent Listowel second when set plenty to do. Last year's victor Loingseoir heads the list of dangers, while in-form duo La La Lucrative and Givehertilxmas seem sure to be in the mix again.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Tai Tam Bay traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Venetian Star traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Jon Riggens (IRE)
Ended a long losing run at Navan (6f, good) in June but spell of good form ended with eleventh of 22 in handicap here (6f, soft) 11 days ago. This course winner is the sort to bounce back though.
Apache Outlaw (IRE)
Came close to ending a lengthy losing run when third in 7f Galway handicap in August. Not seen to best effect when sixth of 11 in handicap at Naas (5f, soft) 5 days ago, finishing well. Enters calculations.
La La Lucrative (IRE)
Scored at Listowel and Roscommon in early summer. Has continued in good heart, runner-up in 14-runner handicap back at Roscommon (7.5f, soft) on Monday. Can go well again off the same mark.
Mickey The Steel
Veteran who ended a long losing run at Dundalk (7f) in September. Backed it up with good third placings at Bellewstown (1m) and back at Dundalk (7f) since. Ought to be thereabouts once more.
Dolly Hello (IRE)
Fair maiden. Went backwards from Killarney reappearance third when last of 14 on handicap debut at Roscommon (7.5f, good) in August. Bounce back is needed.
Givehertilxmas (IRE)
Built on earlier promise in a first-time visor when gaining a first win in 14-runner handicap at Bellewstown (1m, soft) 15 days ago, always holding on. Up 6 lb but in the mix in retained headgear.
Loingseoir (IRE)
Mainly in good form without winning this season and came in a clear second of 16 in handicap here (1m, soft) 11 days ago. Took this 12 months ago so he's a player nudged up 2 lb.
Goofy Gander (IRE)
Low-mileage 3-y-o who posted her best effort when sixth of 15 in handicap at Limerick (1m, good to soft) in June. Too free back from 12 weeks off at Gowran since and the drop back to 7f may help
Kitty Bear (IRE)
Successful 3 times in first half of the year. Returned to form when close fourth over 1m here in August but below par at Laytown and Dundalk since.
Poweracclaim (IRE)
Yet to win but in decent form, sixth of 19 in handicap here (6f, good to soft) last time. One to consider off a 4 lb lower mark in a refitted hood.
Final Boss (IRE)
Fair form when third in 6f maiden at the Curragh a year ago but no better than mid-division this season, seventh of 14 in handicap at Bellewstown (1m) 15 days ago.
Pinar Del Rio
Course winner who shaped quite well when seventh of 27 over 6f here in August. Well beaten in 22-runner handicap at Cork (6f, soft) since, though.
Free Solo (IRE)
C&D winner but on a losing run and not easy to catch right, only ninth of 13 in handicap at Thurles (1m, good to soft) 7 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Venetian Star (IRE)
Still a maiden and proving hard to catch right, eighteenth of 22 in handicap here (6f, soft) 11 days ago. Others appeal more.
Smithfield (IRE)
Fair maiden. Returned with good fourth at Limerick in April but below par all 3 runs since, tried in blinkers when ninth of 15 in claimer at Bellewstown (1m, good) in July on final run for Gavin Cromwell. Lots more required for his new handler.
La Tulipe Noire (IRE)
A 2-time winner in 2025 but yet to fire this season, only seventh of 13 in handicap at Roscommon (7.5f, soft) 3 days ago. Others are preferred.
Eichan San (IRE)
Yet to win and might not be the most straightforward of rides but has shaped better than the result on a few occasions this season, faring best of those drawn low when fifth of 22 in handicap at Navan (6f, good to soft) 8 days ago. Not out of things back at 7f in refitted blinkers.
Tai Tam Bay (IRE)
Winless since April 2024. Visored for first time when a well-held sixteenth of 20 in handicap here (6f, good) in May. Needs to bounce back after 5 months off with blinkers refitted though she did come good at this time last year.
Genuine Jim (IRE)
C&D winner but showed little all 4 starts in first half of 2026. Cheekpieces go on for first time after a break here with plenty more required.
She's On The Ball (IRE)
Much improved of late since tongue tied, getting off the mark at Cork (7f) before an excellent second of 15 in handicap at Listowel (7f, good to soft) when finishing well having been set a lot to do. A player off a 2 lb higher mark (including 1 lb out of the handicap) here.
Strikepoint (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort who failed to improve for switch to handicaps when well held over 6f here 47 days ago. Needs to take a big step forward. RESERVE.
Micasso (IRE)
Winner at Bellewstown (1m) in July. In and out since but shaped better than distance beaten when seventh of 15 in handicap at Killarney (1m, soft) 10 days ago, going too freely. No forlorn hope. RESERVE.
Tariff (IRE)
Gained a breakthrough success in 14-runner handicap at Thurles (1m, good to soft) a week ago, just holding on. Not ruled out under a penalty. RESERVE.
