DOUBLE POWERFUL ran a cracker in an ultra-competitive handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival when last seen in August and is worth siding with back chasing in a much easier race. Glen To Glen has posted 2 good efforts over fences since joining Nick Scholfield, including a win, and may provide the chief threat if over his exertions over hurdles at Chepstow on Saturday.

Timeform Comments

Double Powerful (IRE)
Reappeared with a good third of 20 in listed handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival in August. Completed only once from 3 starts over fences this time last year but this looks a good opening for him if his jumping holds up.
All The Glory
Useful over hurdles but not quite as good in this sphere, pulling up at Market Rasen when last seen in April. The stable's good form at present does provide hope, though.
Glen To Glen (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdle winner for Joseph O'Brien. Made winning start for current yard in novice handicap chase at Perth (2½m) in first-time cheekpieces in August. Backed it up with third at Worcester last month and went off too hard in blinkers back hurdling on Saturday. Cheekpieces return now.
Inca De Lafayette (FR)
Fairly useful winning hurdler who came good at the third time of asking over fences in 4-runner race at Plumpton (2½m, good to soft) in April. Found out off higher marks twice since, though. First run for 4 months.
