Timeform View

The Joe Tizzard stable found form again over the weekend so it might be worth chancing I SHUT THAT D'OR to make a successful return after a breathing operation. The thriving Holy Legend rates an obvious threat, while Diplomatic Ash has a good record here.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Holy Legend traded at more than 5 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Koukeo (FR)
Returned from 8 months off to bag a pair of 2m handicap chases at Windsor and Haydock in January. His form tailed off after but evidently capable fresh and returns from 6 months off with his yard among the winners.
Miralago (FR)
Ex-French winning hurdler/chaser who ran creditably when making the frame on first 3 starts for present yard but lost his way at the end of last season. Needs to have been refreshed by a 6-month break.
Roi Du Risk (FR)
Showed a good attitude to grind out victory in 2m Leicester novice hurdle in the mud last winter. Well beaten in the EBF Final at Sandown when last seen in the spring but that was a tough introduction to handicapping and he's bred to make a chaser.
Jackomy (IRE)
Unexposed 6-y-o who won a pair of handicap hurdles in the spring. A point background suggests he's likely to make a chaser.
Diplomatic Ash (IRE)
Not straightforward but this dual course chase winner put his best foot forward to score over hurdles at Plumpton (21f, good) when last seen in May, just holding on after idling. Returned from a break to finish second in this race 12 months ago and has to enter calculations.
I Shut That D'or (FR)
Won 3 handicap chases in 2024/25. Showed he retains ability on second outing back after an absence when third over C&D in May. Bang there when unseating 3 out at Plumpton next time. Had a breathing operation after and returns with his yard back among the winners over the weekend.
Holy Legend
Strong traveller and seems a reformed character (formerly moody) this season, winning 3 times, including here. Creditable fourth of 9 at Uttoxeter (2m, good) 11 days ago and no reason why he won't give another good account.
