BERNING HOT goes well at this track and might prove the answer to a contest where few arrive with compelling claims. Tom Marquand's mount Nutcracker has a much more solid record than the majority of these and is next on the list ahead of Blue Collar Lad. The returning Dakota Power is one to keep an eye on in the betting.

Gained a first win at the thirteenth attempt in 7-runner classified event at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in July. Runner-up at Lingfield next time and respectable fifth back at Wolverhampton since. Second on soft turf at Chepstow in June. Considered under Marquand.
Sun Of Dolly
Maiden. Best effort when second of 7 at Epsom (7f, good to firm) in July but has disappointed twice since. hard to know what to expect.
