Timeform Comments

Rajeko (IRE)
Has disappointed since finishing second in a listed race on all-weather at Lingfield early last year. Seemed uncomfortable on the track when last of 5 in handicap at Epsom (1¼m, good to soft) 18 days ago but is essentially pretty easy to oppose at present.
Jungle Ruler (IRE)
Dual all-weather winner who ran up to his best well-backed second at Sandown in July. Testing conditions possibly a factor in his subsequent below-par effort at Haydock and perhaps not quite in love with the track when sixth of 8 at Epsom (8.5f, good to soft, 11/2) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces retained.
Raggaas
Got off the mark in 7f Redcar maiden in August and took another step forward on his handicap bow with a close sixth of 7 at Kempton (7f). Not quite in the same form when seventh of 14 in handicap (11/1) at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 26 days ago but mark has eased 1 lb.
Diligent Resdev
Shaped well back from a break at Southwell last month but didn't get home upped to 7f at York last week, so further step up in trip hardly rates as a positive.
Nursia
Left his sole 2-y-o run behind when winning 6-runner novice at Newcastle (6f) in January but matched the pick of his 2-y-o form on just his second handicap start when runner-up in a 9-runner race at Beverley (7.3f, good to firm, 12/1) 23 days ago.
Magic Trip
Shaped encouragingly after an 11-week break when runner-up at Sandown in August and produced another promising effort when third of 13 in handicap at this C&D 12 days ago, going through the final 1f appreciably quicker than anything else. Leading player.
Mystic Moment
Fair 7f winner for Eve Johnson Houghton in 2025. Right back on song for new yard with close second of 4 in handicap at Epsom (1m, firm) in August but again proved a bit too free for her own good when fifth of 9 at Windsor (1m, good to firm) 38 days ago. Makes tapeta debut.
Peel Park (IRE)
Winner of a 6f Yarmouth novice last summer. Proved he stays this trip at the second time of asking when fifth of 6 in handicap (9/4) at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm), rather looking unsuited by emphasis on speed. Place claims after 111 days off.
Island Bear (IRE)
Built on the promise of his previous run to shed maiden tag in 13-runner handicap at Leicester (1m, good to firm) last month and ran at least as well when third of 11 in handicap at Yarmouth (1m, good) 10 days ago. Can make presence felt.
Light Speed (IRE)
Successful from 1 lb higher for Gemma Tutty last season but shaped as if he'd benefit from a return to even further when sixth of 9 in handicap (22/1) at Beverley (7.3f, good to firm) on debut for this yard 23 days ago.
Illy's Roo (IRE)
Made a winning start for current yard at this course (7f) in March and added 1m York victory in July. Not really threatened since, however, and was again well held at C&D 23 days ago.
