DISTILLATE shaped as if back in form when third at Laytown last month and, though her next 2 outings weren't so good, she's been found a weak contest to make the trip over from Ireland worthwhile. She is selected ahead of Based, who has been hampered by slow starts and traffic trouble since winning in June, and could take a hand, while Mickey Mongoose returns to a track he goes well at.

Yet to open his account in 15 starts and little promise since joining this yard. Now steps back up to 7f and drops to 0-55 company.
Sonbelievable
Very little promise in qualifying runs and hard to fancy on handicap debut.
Based (IRE)
Won at Wolverhampton in June but not kicked on since. Better signs when fourth of 9 at same track 24 days ago when not getting a good trip round and he's capable of scoring again in this company. Tongue strap worn for last 2 outings now removed.
Auradue
Showed some promise on third outing when fourth at Doncaster but struggled over 5f on handicap debut at Newcastle in July. First-time blinkers and step up to 7f after 82 days off could see her reveal more.
Vitalline
Twice a winner this year and followed a good run with a below-par one when eighth of 11 in a handicap at Kempton 15 days ago. Often races freely and now has the visor back on to replace blinkers worn last time. Capable at this level.
Mickey Mongoose
Struggling for form but now below last winning mark and returns to the scene of last 4 career wins so better could be expected.
Megaphone
Largely struggled since joining this yard but has tumbled to a basement mark and probably hasn't been seen to best effect the last twice so not one to totally dismiss.
Distillate
Irish raider who is on a long losing run and form has been patchy at best this year. Did shape quite when third at Laytown in September, though, and is down to a handy mark so she needs a market check in a very winnable race.
Gloriola
Second on all-weather debut at Wolverhampton in June and third there in July but only sixth of 8 here when last seen in August. Off 70 days and less exposed than most of these so not without hope back at 7f.
Edergole's Gift (IRE)
Came good this time last year but last couple of outings don't make her look like an imminent winner.
Neat And Tidy
Has little solid form to her name and recent effort having left Richard Hughes cheaply wasn't encouraging.
Pink Socks (IRE)
Did well here in classified races back in January but has lost her way completely since joining current yard.
My Prerogative
Lightly raced and showed a glimmer more when fifth of 10 in a handicap at Wolverhampton 24 days ago. Needs another step forward.
