Timeform View

It could pay to concentrate on TYSON FURY and Plontier, who both have fairly useful form on the Flat this year, with Denis Hogan's charge preferred on his return to all-weather. Trishuli River is largely consistent on this surface and is the pick of the remainder.

Timeform Comments

Aiteall (IRE)
Lightly-raced 3-y-o from excellent yard. Confirmed his Down Royal improvement when close third in a C&D handicap 7 days ago. This looks a tough ask at the weights, though.
Sherekiya (IRE)
Finished close third in a 1m Curragh handicap (good) in August. Hasn't kicked on in a couple of soft-ground handicaps subsequently. Now steps up in trip on all-weather debut and looks to have plenty of improvement to find on these terms.
Autocrat (IRE)
Five-time C&D winner who scored for the first time on turf at Bellewstown (12.4f, soft) earlier this month. Failed by a long chalk to repeat that at Roscommon 4 days ago. Something to find, even if revitalised by another change of headgear.
Trishuli River (IRE)
Four-time course winner. Beaten 8 lengths in a better event here (1½m) last month. Again made little impact off a much-reduced turf mark at Down Royal subsequently, however, she invariably gives her running on this surface.
Daonethatgotaway
In fine form at this track over the winter/spring, including success in 1½m handicap in February. Underperformed returned to this surface 4 weeks ago. Can be competitive off these terms if back on song, though.
Haeret In Pectore (IRE)
Ex-Polish 7f winner. Attracted support when fifth in a low-level handicap over C&D in January. Offered little on turf more recently for shrewd yard and hopes pinned on the addition of more severe headgear.
Tyson Fury
Fairly useful Flat performer who landed a 6-runner C&D claimer in good style on latest all-weather start in March. As good as ever over hurdles this summer prior to a lesser effort when well held fourth in Listowel maiden last time. Looks the pick at the weights now back on the level.
Earthwatch (IRE)
Fairly useful winner over 1m for William Haggas in July last year. Well below that form in handful of Flat runs for present yard and hasn't been pulling up any trees over jumps, either. Tyson Fury looks the stable's leading hope.
Vivere A Colori (USA)
€62,000 Caravaggio filly. Left debut form well behind when 3¾ lengths fifth in first-time visor over C&D, shaken up over 3f/plugged on. More severe headgear now reached for and while relatively unexposed, she likely needs another significant step forward.
Beat The Devil (IRE)
Course winner who had a good spell in low-grade handicaps over the winter/spring. Now back up in trip (runner-up both previous C&D starts) having seemingly been going through the motions here more recently.
Goldrush Kid (IRE)
Doubled his tally after a 5-month absence in 10-runner claimer at Laytown (6f) in September on his final run for Patrick Magee. Now switches to all-weather/1¼m for first time following an underwhelming start for Ado McGuinness, folding quickly at Roscommon (7.5f) 4 days ago.
Jazz Dreamers (IRE)
Losing run stretches back to 2023 and was well beaten at Down Royal (11f) last time.
My Vonnie (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who has been operating a long way below her placed form here last winter, beaten 9½ lengths in a course handicap (1½m) latest.
Plontier (FR)
Ex-Willie Mullins gelding. Still fairly useful on the Flat for present yard this summer and looked to be in reasonable form when 11½ lengths third in claiming hurdle at Clonmel earlier this month. Makes appeal at the weights on Flat return, for all stall 15 isn't the ideal draw.
Barretstown (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner. Came in from the wilderness with a more encouraging display than of late from his basement mark here last time, finishing 2¼ lengths fourth of 14. Tall order at the weights if lining up, though. RESERVE.
