Timeform View

BOSTON MAX has been holding his form notably well since registering back-to-back wins in the spring, so he appeals as a very solid option. Long-standing maiden Jazzit and Simmering Seas head up the opposition.

Timeform Comments

Boston Max (IRE)
Course winner (5f) in April and followed up at Chepstow (5f) in May. Held his form well in defeat subsequently and remains of interest.
Four Blondes (IRE)
Expensive to follow, faring no better down in grade when tenth of 22 in handicap (13/2) at Navan (6f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Up in trip for polytrack debut.
Simmering Seas (IRE)
Yet to win but shaping up nicely for new yard, in the frame again at Navan (5f) last month. Easy to excuse latest effort at Cork on account of testing conditions and remains one to bear in mind.
Dervo Annie (IRE)
Runner-up at Fairyhouse in July but has lost her way since.
Jazzit
Long-standing maiden but ran creditably when fourth of 9 in handicap (11/2) at Laytown (6f) 36 days ago, despite being caught further back than ideal. Expected to be thereabouts once more.
Hot To Foxtrot (IRE)
Maiden who wasn't disgraced when seventh of 14 in handicap at this course (1m, 18/1) 28 days ago. Considered from a 1 lb lower mark.
Will Be King (IRE)
Fairly useful performer at best whose last success came in 2020. Runner-up in classified company at Wolverhampton on reappearance after a 31-month layoff but hasn't matched that form in 3 starts since, including in first-time cheekpieces latest.
Are You In Or Out (IRE)
Enhanced her good record fresh when scoring at Fairyhouse on her return in May. More miss than hit since, though, failing to build on the promise of her last run when well held in 6f handicap at Navan last week. Cheekpieces back on.
Polanco (IRE)
Made more impact than previously when third of 14 in handicap at this course (1m, 33/1) 28 days ago, despite again not settling. Task is now to back that up.
Fontaine Khaled (IRE)
Fared better with her sights lowered when third at Down Royal (7f) in May. Hasn't reproduced that form in 3 subsequent outings, though did shape a bit better than the distance beaten suggests at the Curragh on most recent outing.
Whatsin The Stars (IRE)
Starman filly who is still to even hint at ability in 5 starts. Easily passed over.
Lady Landhort (IRE)
Course winner who wasn't disgraced upped to 1m when sixth of 14 in a handicap here 3 weeks ago. Has each-way claims back down in trip.
Alandownunder (IRE)
Disappointing in handicaps this year and not one to be interested in.
Thumama Sands (IRE)
Has shown little all 6 starts to date. Fitted with first-time cheekpieces for polytrack debut.
Battleforsupremacy (IRE)
C&D winner last November who returned to form in first-time blinkers when fourth of 14 in a C&D handicap last week, despite being slowly away. Can make presence felt with a repeat. RESERVE.
The Bear Trap (IRE)
Hasn't gone on from an encouraging reappearance/stable debut over C&D last month. RESERVE.
