Timeform View

This looks a good opportunity for fairly useful bumper performer TURBOCHARGED to make a successful start over hurdles. Point bumper winner Lunar Trix appeals as one of more interesting Rules debutants, in race where the betting should offer plenty of clues.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Turbocharged traded at a high of 4.00 and Betfair SP of 3.50 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Scopic
Well beaten at long odds all 5 starts to date, latterly from out of the weights in first-time hood/tongue tie on handicap debut at Sedgefield. First-time cheekpieces now replace tongue strap on return to maiden company.
Shah (FR)
€12,500 3-y-o, £55,000 5-y-o, Walzertakt gelding. Half-brother to French 1¼m-1½m winner Coco Caline. Dam 1¼m winner in France. Easy winner third start in Irish points (May 2026). One of the more interesting types in here, especially if supported.
Supreme George (IRE)
Fair sort. Thriving following a breathing operation when making it 4 wins from 6 starts over fences at Chepstow (2m) in April. Made it consecutive poor efforts with a relatively laboured return at Uttoxeter latest. May prove vulnerable to less-exposed ones, even if revived by a return to hurdles.
Turbocharged (IRE)
Well-related 6-y-o who finished third in a solid Newbury bumper on debut last November. Confirmed that promise in spades when justifying support in impressive fashion at Haydock in March. In top hands and probably hard to beat if translating his fairly useful form to hurdles.
Wings Of Ayrton (IRE)
Runner-up sole start in Irish points. Found things happening too quickly when well-held third in 2m Warwick maiden on hurdling debut in May. Type to do better at some point for excellent yard, possibly in handicaps over further.
Elmsford (IRE)
€40,000 3-y-o, €17,000 4-y-o, Westerner gelding. Dam, maiden on Flat in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 2¾m) Idarah. Third on second of 2 starts in Irish points (May 2026). Market should offer plenty of clues with yard also saddling Wings of Ayrton.
Equi Libre (FR)
Free-going sort. Close third in a Stratford bumper for Tom Weston prior to again looking a handful (didn't even manage to jump an obstacle) when pulled up on hurdling/stable debut at Worcester on return. Looks the clear stable second string.
Gift From Derrick
Frontiersman gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner Ted's Gift. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser up to 2½m Who's That. Well worth a look in the market.
Lunar Trix (IRE)
Sea Moon gelding. Half-brother to dual bumper winner Little Watson. Dam lightly-raced hurdler, 1¼m winner on Flat, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Cool Baranca. Comfortable winner of sole start in point bumpers. Certainly respected on hurdling debut with yard going well.
Cool Ocean (IRE)
€2,000 4-y-o, Crystal Ocean filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 25f) Up For Review and fairly useful hurdle/chase winner (stayed 23f) Oscar Thyne. Runner-up sole start in Irish points (Apr 2026). Looks one for time/distance on paper.
She Can Run
Out of a staying chaser. Never involved at long odds on hurdling debut at Bangor (17f) in March.
