8-y-o who boasts a patchy record but avoided mistakes for once and wasn't disgraced back at a more suitable trip when second of 5 over C&D (good) last month, albeit no match for the easy winner. Well treated if able to build on that here.
Rula Bula (IRE)
Returned last season with success in 17f Carlisle handicap in November but only seen 3 times since, fifth of 10 in at Warwick (21f, good to firm) when last seen in April. Has won twice back from a break and she's worth a second look in the betting on chasing debut.
Mister Cessna (FR)
Dual winner over hurdles who was successful in this corresponding race on return last season. Became disappointing thereafter and returns from 4 lb below that winning mark as a result.
Bobbi's Beauty (IRE)
Held her form well on the whole last season and got her reward with an emphatic success in 6-runner handicap at Taunton (2¼m) back in March, responding well to an attacking ride in first-time cheekpieces. Has gone well fresh before, so every chance she can pick up from where she left off.
Sweeper System (IRE)
Pulled up on heavy-ground handicap debut over 2½m at Wetherby in January but different proposition dropped back to 2m at the same venue on good to soft in March. Well beaten the following month at Huntingdon (2m, good to soft) and off since ahead of this chasing debut.
