Timeform View

RESEMBLANCE still looks on a handy mark following a comfortable success at Ffos Las and she may well follow up. Pure Majesty is an interesting nursery debutant given her pedigree/connections, while Koodini makes each-way appeal in a race where several are unproven on the ground.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Deputy Vice traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Baarberini has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Baarberini
Fair form to place both all-weather starts. Keener than ideal when beaten 3½ lengths on turf debut at Bath (1m) latest. Return to 7f the logical move on that evidence, though his opening mark demands more.
Resemblance (IRE)
Best effort in novice/maiden races when runner-up in a good 6f race here in May. More than built on that promise when winning in fine style on nursery debut/return at Ffos Las (6f, soft) latest. Didn't look short of speed that day and capable of defying a 5 lb rise if she stays the longer trip.
Crazy Cubana (IRE)
120,000 gns Kodiac filly. Back on track when narrowly doubling her tally at Chester (7f, heavy), finding plenty having settled better than previously. A 3 lb rise may be enough to prevent a follow up, for all she's still relatively unexposed on this sort of ground.
Tango Hotel
Showed improved form in first-time cheekpieces when landing a weak Ffos Las maiden (5f, soft) in June. Backed that up when runner-up in a couple of Hamilton nurseries on contrasting ground. Given time to get over lesser effort on return to Ffos Las last time and should at least handle conditions.
Deputy Vice (IRE)
Best effort since his promising debut when 7¼-length third in 6f novice here (good to soft) last month. Hasn't landed a blow in a couple of nursery starts since, not helping himself with a tardy start when dropped into this grade at Musselburgh (7f) latest.
Koodini (IRE)
Ground-versatile sort. Opened his account in a small-field Catterick nursery prior to a creditable fourth over C&D last month. Easy enough to overlook subsequent Chester run (poorly drawn) and back on his winning mark as a result. Makes each-way appeal.
Pure Majesty (IRE)
300,000 gns State of Rest filly who appeals on paper/looks. Hasn't progressed on the face of things following a fairly promising debut at Newmarket in July. In excellent hands, though, and switch to longer trip/nursery may well see her in a better light.
Indian Land
Found plenty to score at Wolverhampton (6f) second time up. Hasn't improved as expected over 7f in nurseries, for all he clearly didn't give his running on the back of a gelding operation at Yarmouth latest. Type who should benefit from first-time blinkers and isn't discounted for top yard.
Blanquita
Runner-up in ordinary maiden at Beverley (7f, heavy) second time up. Shaped as though drop back in trip would suit when beaten 4½ lengths on nursery bow here (1m) last time. Another who shouldn't be troubled by conditions, for all others have stronger form.
