EXTRAGALACTIC wasn't able to build on his debut promise when second in a Musselburgh maiden last month, but the winner has scored again since and he's well worth another chance. Pushing The Limits made a promising first start and could be the main danger, with So Farhh completing the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Dj Harry (IRE)
Foaled April 15. €34,000 yearling, Circus Maximus colt. Closely related to 1½m-16.3f winner Takarengo, and half-brother to winner up to 7f Herewegodandy and US 5.5f winner Night Blue. May just be better for this first experience, but he's worth a market check.
Extragalactic (IRE)
Made plenty of appeal on paper and was only narrowly denied in a Yarmouth novice (7f) on debut in August. Failed to land the odds when second of 9 in maiden at Musselburgh 5 weeks ago, but he still rates as a strong contender for his leading yard.
Shorien (IRE)
Was very much in need of the experience on debut when last of 12 in novice at Kempton 6 weeks ago, missing the break and always behind. Likely to need more time.
Bal Harbour (IRE)
Very green making his first start when ninth in 11-runner maiden at Wolverhampton (7f) 25 days ago, slowly away. Will need to have learned plenty from his debut run.
Hidden Army (IRE)
Showed ability when 2½ lengths fifth of 11 in seller at Redcar (7f) on debut in August, but went backwards from that effort in novice company when down the field at Newcastle (Pushing The Limits in third) 3 weeks ago.
Pushing The Limits
Very strong in the betting (66/1 into 11/2) and shaped encouragingly on debut when third of 13 in novice at Newcastle (7f) 3 weeks ago, form franked by the first 2 since. Enters calculations with improvement to come.
So Farhh
Showed more than on debut when 3¾ lengths fifth of 13 in novice at Newcastle (7f) 3 weeks ago (Pushing The Limits ahead in third). Bred to be suited this extra distance and could be in the mix.
Meccapulco (IRE)
Upped to 1m, shaped a bit better than first time up when fifth of 9 in novice at Pontefract 22 days ago. Will be of more appeal in handicaps, though.
Gordons Girl
Has offered something to work on in 2 maidens so far, plugging on in a slowly-run race when eighth of 11 at Wolverhampton (8.5f) last month. Was prominent in the betting last time, but plenty more required in this contest.
Wells Fargos Envoy
Bred for longer trips and has made little impact in her 2 starts, returning from 3 months off when sixth of 8 in novice at Beverley (7.5f) in September. Needs another run for a handicap mark.
