Timeform View

Dan Skelton's French recruit MISTERDOC created a very good impression when landing a brace of novices last season and looks very much the way to go stepping into handicap company on a handy-looking mark on his reappearance. Mister Ursus was also on the up during the spring and is next on the list ahead of Arbitration, who should find this return to 2m in his favour, and C&D scorer Arctic Voyage.

Timeform Comments

Mister Ursus (IRE)
Multiple Flat winner in France. Very much on the up switched to hurdles for present yard last season and scored easily (over 2m) in Fakenham maiden and 12-runner handicap at Perth in the spring. Hiked up 13 lb but very much one to consider on his return.
Intellotto (IRE)
A useful winning hurdler/chaser at his best for Joseph O'Brien. Highly tried and well beaten in a trio of runs for Daisy Hitchins last spring. Needs to take a big step forward despite a tumbling mark for his return.
The Four Sixes (IRE)
Won 4 times in 2025. Not in the same form this year and signed off for Olly Murphy with a poor effort in handicap hurdle at Hexham (2½m, soft) in May, finishing weakly. Has a bit to prove starting out for new handler here after a layoff.
Misterdoc (FR)
French bumper winner. Has looked a good prospect for his new yard when readily bagging a pair of 2m novice hurdles at Ludlow (strong form) and Perth early in 2026. Returns with more to come now handicapping. The one to beat.
Arctic Voyage
Gained a second C&D success in July and backed it up with a solid third over C&D last month. Not out of things off the same mark.
Arbitration (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat winner. Runner-up in novices over C&D and at Worcester (hooded) in May but went too freely when last of 5 on his handicap debut at Fontwell (2¼m, good to firm) 25 days ago. Can bounce back reverted to 2m here.
Boyles Hill (IRE)
A 3-time winner over hurdles in 2024/25. Well below that form last season though under both codes so needs to take a big step forward on his seasonal return.
