Timeform View

A chance is taken on the fitness of RIALANNAH, who had a few subsequent winners behind her on the second of her 2 Fakenham victories in the spring and could still be on a favourable mark. The hat-trick seeking The Egyptian Ginge rates an obvious danger. Roaring Home is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Transmission (IRE)
Back to form with a bang when winning Edinburgh National at Musselburgh in February and followed it up with third in Sussex National at Plumpton. Ran as well as could be expected in Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown final start. Reverts to hurdles on return.
The Egyptian Ginge (IRE)
Quirky sort but he got off the mark at Ludlow (23f) in the spring and followed up on his return for an in-form yard at Worcester (23f, soft) 22 days ago. Raised 10 lb but still much respected.
Minella Crooner (IRE)
Smart Irish chaser at best for Gordon Elliott but pulled up in 3 outings for Sarah Humphrey in the spring and plenty to prove back hurdling for new trainer after 6 months off. Tongue tied first time.
Diamond Geezer (IRE)
Three handicap hurdle wins last season, with the latest gained over 3m at Southwell (good to soft) in first-time blinkers (retained) when last seen in April. 6 lb higher on return (gone well fresh before).
Rialannah (IRE)
Thrived with back-to-back wins at Fakenham in the spring. Unseated rider on hat-trick bid at Uttoxeter when last seen in May. The form of her second Fakenham success worked out well and still on a good mark if ready to roll after 146 days off.
Roaring Home
Likeable type who completed a double in mares handicap hurdles in the spring. Runner-up on next 2 outings and last month's 2¾m Stratford fourth was also creditable.
