LADY DAPPLE ROSE was all set to collect when unseating at Hereford on Tuesday. She gets the vote off an unchanged mark, though this is no penalty kick with interesting stable-switcher Teorie in opposition.

Timeform Comments

Al Mootamarid (IRE)
Fair 1¼m Flat winner who opened his account in this sphere here (2m) last June. Recorded back-to-back thirds behind subsequent winners at Worcester (2m) this summer and shaped better than at Cartmel when beaten 15 lengths on return to Worcester last time. Others look better treated, though.
Teorie (IRE)
Fair juvenile/novice hurdle winner earlier in his career. Runner-up in handicaps in first half of 2025 but operating below his best for Daisy Hitchens last season. On a much-reduced mark as a result and potentially very interesting returning for yard that excels with new recruits.
Crown Of India (IRE)
Consistent sort. Has plenty of solid form in defeat since doubling his career/Worcester tally in June (2m). Found only one too good for the third time in 4 races when 6½ lengths behind a well-treated one at Fontwell (2¼m) latest. Should give his running again.
Seraphic (IRE)
Enjoyed a productive winter/spring on all-weather. Shaped reasonably well from out of the weights when 3½ lengths third in first-time hood at Warwick (2m) in May. Now back on his proper mark and may well have benefitted from a break (on the go for a while prior to his latest run).
Lady Dapple Rose (IRE)
Showed ability in Cheltenham/Aintree bumpers for Harriet Dicken last year. Slow burner over hurdles for Ben Pauling but was set for a much-improved success when unseating (swerved at final flight) in a Hereford handicap (2½m) on Tuesday. Obvious claims to gain compensation off an unchanged mark.
Lord Cauvelliere (FR)
Fair course bumper winner on debut last May. Has been making hard work of things over hurdles more recently, faring no better for step up in trip/first-time blinkers (now removed) at Bangor (2½m) last time. Hard to be confident Gavin Sheehan will get a tune out of him, either.
Granny B (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who placed in consecutive races at Uttoxeter last May. Back on song when 5 lengths third (from 9 lb out of the weights) over C&D last time. Now races off her proper mark but she's bumping into a couple of potentially well-treated ones.
Yanka Blue (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who finished runner-up over C&D this summer. Has shaped better than the result in handicaps more recently, latterly when well-held third in same race contested by Lady Dapple Rose at Hereford. She'll have easier opportunities to break her duck.
