BLACK MISSILE is now on a workable mark and should find the return to 6f in his favour so he gets the verdict over King Cherry, who'll benefit from this return to all-weather, and the consistent Beach Partee.

Timeform Comments

Mayflyer
Went the right way in 3 starts for Harry Charlton early this year and, after 5 months off, took another step forward on handicap/stable debut when third at Newcastle in July. Shaped as if better for the run after a 9-week break when seventh of 9 at that same C&D 16 days ago. Back up in trip.
Dance Fantasy (IRE)
Hasn't really kicked on in 3 handicap outings and finishing alarmingly tamely despite the drop back to 6f when fifth of 10 at Newcastle (6f, 7/1) 15 days ago. Others more persuasive. NON RUNNER.
King Cherry (IRE)
Revitalised by the application of a hood/drop to a sprint trip when making all in 11-runner handicap at Kempton (6f) at the end of September. Not in the same form under a penalty at Nottingham last week but return to all-weather will suit, for all he should face competition for the lead.
Persian Gate (IRE)
Showed encouragement in a C&D maiden on debut, but failed to land the odds when third of 4 at Chepstow 2 weeks later and was below form when fourth of 6 in maiden (15/8) at Catterick (6f, good) 39 days ago. Bit to prove now handicapping.
Lavender Bloom (IRE)
Again slowly away but she surpassed the form of her qualifying runs when second of 5 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, firm) on handicap debut back in July. Not discounted if ready after that break.
Ice Cold Alex
Winless since his debut at Pontefract (5f) last spring. Best effort of present campaign when fourth at Beverley (5f) in May and was shaping as if out of the doldrums when badly hampered at Redcar last month. Worth betting check on this second try at 6f.
Black Missile (IRE)
Has edged down the weights this season and ran respectably when third of 6 in handicap (2/1) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 25 days ago, Step back up in trip will suit and he's not taken lightly.
Kodicall (IRE)
Didn't need to improve to get off the mark in 4-runner maiden at Chepstow (6f, soft) in late August but well held switched to handicaps next 3 starts.
Dusk Damsel
Twilight Son filly who ran up to her best away from handicap company when second of 6 in a Lingfield maiden (7f) at the start of September. That form might not be the most solid, though, and she was below that level when sixth of 12 in novice at Wolverhampton (6f) 32 days ago.
Arc La Shari
Shaped well when a debut second in 7f Newcastle novice last November but hasn't really kicked on since, faring no better with the tongue strap reapplied when sixth of 10 in handicap (20/1) at Kempton (7f) 12 days ago.
Beach Partee
Won 3 times as a juvenile (including here). Yet to score as a 3-y-o but has made the frame on 8 of his last 9 starts, third of 9 in handicap at Brighton (6f, good, 10/3) 11 days ago. Can make presence felt.
Pivotal Terms
Gained breakthrough success at Newcastle (6f) in April but below par of late, just seventh of 9 in handicap there (5f) 6 weeks ago. 4 lb below last winning mark but others more persuasive.
Whazzimo
Hinted at promise on her first 3 runs but only ninth of 10 on handicap debut at Lingfield (1m, all-weather) in July on final run for James Ferguson. Needs this yard switch to spark progress.
Shush A Minute
Still a way from bettering poor form and offered little on debut for this yard (formerly trained by John Butler) when ninth of 11 in handicap at Ffos Las (6f, heavy, 17/2) 20 days ago.
