Timeform View

There's surely better to come from very useful Flat stayer DALLAS STAR, especially over this longer trip, and he may well follow up his strong-looking hurdling debut success. Emerald Enigma and Luck Between Us stand out as the dangers, with Tinto De Verano preferred of the rest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Emerald Enigma traded at more than 5 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Dallas Star (FR)
Very useful stayer on the Flat. Recorded a workmanlike success on hurdling debut at Navan (2m) last month (form proving strong), and he's likely to be capable of better over a significantly longer trip on second start for a shrewd operation.
Luck Between Us (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who's proved progressive in winning 3 of his 4 starts this season. Scored with more authority than the ½-length winning margin would suggest in Listowel handicap last time, too, and he's certainly respected upped in class for his hat-trick bid.
Tinto De Verano (IRE)
Lightly-raced hurdler. Seemed to excel himself up in grade when third in a useful conditions event at Punchestown (19f) in April. Off the mark in a race where his main market rivals failed to fire at Ballinrobe (2¾m) in May. Certainly has a chance if his Punchestown form is taken at face value.
Emerald Enigma (IRE)
Fairly useful in bumpers (2-2). All the better for step up in trip when making it second time lucky over hurdles at Navan (21f), travelling smoothly/value for more than the winning margin. Likely to go on improving for top yard and no surprise if she makes an immediate impact at listed level.
Gangster Granny (IRE)
Thriving when notching a third Downpatrick win from 5 starts when completing a double in a mares handicap (2¾m) last month. Ran respectably without threatening to add to her tally there latest (beaten 8¾ lengths). Probably finds a few too good at the weights up in class.
Pets Georgina (IRE)
Free-going sort. Responded well to win a bumper at Sligo in June prior to following up (under a more positive ride) with a fairly useful success in Kilbeggan maiden hurdle. Hasn't kicked on from that, though, and she'll need to resume progress following 8 weeks away.
Tountinna (IRE)
Lightly-raced mare. Built on the promise of her hurdling debut to get off the mark in smooth style at Cork (19f) in April, pulling a long way clear with another fair sort. Should be all the better for her return at Listowel last month, though now faces a step up in class.
