Timeform View

GLIN ROAD BOY was well backed when landing a competitive Listowel handicap in September and, with that form working out well, he is taken to defy a 13 lb rise, while Build A Bridge rates the main danger if reproducing his Punchestown gamble win and lightly-raced Zuzukel is respected from an in-form yard.

Timeform Comments

Cumberland River (IRE)
Improved immediately for the switch to handicaps when winning 15-runner 2m event at this course last December before running too badly to be true in first-time cheekpieces at Naas just 13 days later. Not seen since and, while he remains unexposed, the yard has yet to fully fire this season.
Glin Road Boy (IRE)
Stepped up on eye-catching debut for current yard when winning a large-field handicap at Listowel last time. That form has been well franked since, with 3 of the next 4 home having won since. Up 13 lb but arrives on an upward curve and should have more still to offer.
Lenjoleur De Palma (FR)
Enjoyed a productive handicap campaign last season, winning over 2m here and making the frame on 3 other visits, and, still only 5, he may have more to offer over hurdles and should be sharper for his recent return, though is at his best in soft/heavy conditions.
Likealightswitch (IRE)
Had been knocking on the door prior to making the most of a good opportunity in a Gowran maiden in March. Below par at Fairyhouse the following month and faced a stiff task at the weights when fourth to Gino Bella in a minor event back at Gowran on return.
Del Boys Diva (IRE)
Improved for the fitting of a tongue strap, decisively landing handicap hurdles at Roscommon/Wexford in July. Not disgraced in 3 outing since but has failed to see her race out properly on her last 2 outings and has questions to answer now as a result.
Shannon Bank (IRE)
Off the mark on second run for this stable in mares handicap hurdle at Listowel (2m) in June. However, has gone backwards from that effort in 3 chase starts since and now reverts to hurdling off a career-high mark.
Zuzukel (FR)
Maiden who was easy to back and shaped as if needing the run when well held at Bellewstown back in the spring. Not seen since but went close off a 1 lb lower mark at Punchestown last season and looks capable of being involved with the yard in good order at present.
Individualism
Fairly useful on Flat up to 11f for Charlie Johnston. Little encouragement to glean from his 3 starts over hurdles for current connections but very much the type to do better now tackling handicaps in this sphere. One to note if attracting support.
Quint Major (IRE)
Fairly useful bumper winner in 2024. Below that level over hurdles but has run at least respectably on his last 2 starts, 12¼ lengths fifth of 11 to Inthenickoftime at Galway on latest.
Mad Maxios (IRE)
Winner of a junior hurdle at Chepstow in spring 2025 and matched that form when runner-up in handicap at Warwick in November. In the process of running well when falling at the last at Ludlow in December, clear second at the time. Well worth noting in the betting on debut for a new yard.
Build A Bridge (IRE)
Showed improved form and landing a gamble when winning 11-runner handicap hurdle Punchestown 4 days ago by 4½ lengths from Silly Mongoose. Turned out under a 7-lb penalty, he looks sure to make his presence felt if coping with the quick turnaround.
Bold Reflection (IRE)
Expensive point recruit who won a heavy-ground bumper on debut at this course in December 2022. Brought along steadily in maiden hurdles following a 3-year absence and could do better now handicapping.
Kome Dans Un Reve (FR)
Took a notable step forward when ¾-length second of 12 to Dairy Force in 17f handicap at Clonmel in October. Back up 3 lb for that effort, so will need to build on that performance if he's to make a similarly bold bid here.
Our Girl Ellie (IRE)
Placed twice in mares maidens last season but has offered little this season, including in handicaps on last 2 starts.
Kingdom Calling (FR)
Took advantage of a career-low mark when winning Tramore handicap chase in August and has posted respectable efforts back over hurdles on last 2 starts, faring best of those held up when 6¼ lengths fourth of 16 to Footstepstoglory at Killarney on latest.
