GREAT MOVER looked a shade unlucky when third behind a couple of next-time-out winners at Listowel last month so is taken to make amends. This does look competitive, though, with Rest Your Mind and Spacebound heading the dangers.

Timeform Comments

Dark Viper
All 3 career wins have come here, including in good style (9f) in July. Not disgraced both starts since and considered back at this venue.
Molto Amichi (IRE)
Confirmed the promise of his previous run when landing a gamble at Killarney in July. Very much had the run of the race that day, however, and has struggled since. Headgear on.
Harana (IRE)
Improved when winning maiden at Ballinrobe (1¼m) in June and firmly back on track despite carrying her head awkwardly when second at Navan (1m). Made effort earlier than ideal at Punchestown since. Change of headgear and back up in trip.
Thyer
Winless for over 2 years but that could be ready to end judged on recent efforts. Drop back in trip will suit and tongue strap back on.
Spacebound
Shaped well in maidens/handicaps, including when fourth of 16 off 2 lb higher at the Curragh 2 weeks ago after 3 months off. Up in trip.
Darius Dark (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick at the Curragh in June but summed up by revised mark since.
Sinbad My Dad (IRE)
Bounced back to form in first-time blinkers to win at Clonmel last month. Caught out by the step back up in trip since and this distance is more suitable.
Galileo Noir (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort who won a maiden at the Curragh in April but down the field on his last 2 starts in handicaps after 5 months off. Headgear on.
Great Mover (IRE)
Easy Gowran winner 13 months ago. Hasn't hit the target since but ran best race for a while when third at Listowel last month, likely to have gone close granted a cleaner run in the straight. Now of interest again.
Nermal (IRE)
Got off the mark on his handicap debut at Roscommon in June. Decent placed efforts on turf since and drop back in trip will suit.
Rest Your Mind (IRE)
Lightly-raced filly who made a winning return/yard debut in maiden at Galway in August. Further progress in handicaps since, just denied at the Curragh 2 weeks ago. Drop back to this trip could be ideal.
Walhaan (IRE)
Veteran who was a respectable third back from a break at Dundalk last time but he has struggled both starts on turf this year.
Java Wood (IRE)
Off the mark for the year at Limerick (1m) in June and won with a bit to spare at Gowran last month. Needs to shrug off a couple of below-par performances since, though.
Faro Island
Proved better than ever when notching his third career success at Galway in July but has struggled since.
Autumn Twist (IRE)
Produced a career best when scoring over hurdles in August and good fifth in that sphere following month, but disappointed back on the Flat in between. Headgear back on.
Berto Ramirez
Winless on Flat and has gone off the boil.
Dark Summit
Winner in France but placed just once from 9 starts for Denis Hogan. However, much better for yard debut when third of 16 at Navan 11 days ago and well treated if coming on again. RESERVE.
Nibras Rainbow (IRE)
Has won twice upon rejoining current yard, his latest success in 22-runner handicap here (9f) in July. Some good placed efforts since, though latest run at the Curragh on Thursday was one of his lesser efforts. RESERVE.
Lamar Valley
Looked a work-in-progress in her qualifying runs and made more of an impact when fourth of 18 on handicap bow at the Curragh 3 weeks ago. This is tougher, though. RESERVE.
