Timeform View

KIMI DE MAI went close at Roscommon last time, where a mistake at the last may have cost her victory, and, back down in trip, she is taken to open her account. Impressive Galway bumper winner Brickfield Belle is feared most, with Silk Buds also respected after making the frame in bumpers.

Timeform Comments

Aboras Mahler (IRE)
Wore a hood when runner-up in maiden and handicap at Downpatrick in the spring on both outings for Stephen Carlin. Probably needed the run on debut for new yard at Listowel on back of a 4-month break last time. Vulnerable to improvers back in maiden company.
Brickfield Belle (IRE)
Given a considerate introduction when fifth of 21 in maiden hurdle at Naas on debut. Has shown improved form in bumpers since, winning an 18-runner mares event at Galway in September by 15 lengths from a next-time-out winner. One to consider now reverting to hurdling.
Cerulean Summer (IRE)
A fair maiden handicapper up to 1½m on Flat for Dylan Cunha. Probably needed the run on back of 18-month absence when seventh of 8 in mares maiden at Killarney on hurdling debut.
French Adventure (FR)
Won once from 8 outings in points and looked very much one for the longer term when mid-division in a 20-runner maiden hurdle at Gowran 16 days ago.
George's Order (IRE)
Order of St George mare. Went with no encouragement when well beaten in mares bumper at Galway on debut.
Jury Time (IRE)
Placed on all 3 starts in bumpers, albeit her debut third remains by far the pick of her efforts. She shaped like a stayer throughout, though, and is likely to need longer trips before fulfilling her potential over hurdles.
Kimi De Mai (FR)
Ex-French bumper winner. Has proven frustrating over hurdles for Willie Mullins, including when runner-up at Kilbeggan in August. Did very little wrong when narrowly touched off by a stablemate in a 2½m mares event at Roscommon last time, though. Sets the standard.
Lucky Valley (IRE)
Mahler mare successful on one of 8 starts in points. Looked one for the longer term when 18¾ lengths fifth of 8 to Born Believing in bumper at Cork in April. Makes hurdling debut.
Naught But Nice (IRE)
Showed nothing when pulled up in maiden hurdle at Limerick last season. Hood now applied on return.
Silk Buds (IRE)
Affinisea mare. Pulled up sole start in Irish points but shaped encouragingly when placed twice in bumpers, looking more straightforward when second in 14-runner event at Wexford in July. Capable of making an impact on hurdling bow.
Coffeemorninggirls (IRE)
Second foal: dam (c124/h108), 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 2¾m), half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler (2m winner) Road Exile.
Whelkeen View (IRE)
€62,000 3-y-o: first foal: dam (c120/h110), 2½m hurdle/chase winner (stayed 3m), sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3¼m) Goose Man.
