HASHTAG PRETENDER has few miles on the clock over fences for his age and can gain compensation for a promising run last time. Zurich looks sure to be thereabouts on return, while Miners Bridge has each-way claims.

Timeform Comments

Zurich (FR)
Progressive sort who bagged a pair of handicap chases at Killarney and Cheltenham this time last year. Turned in some good efforts in defeat after, including fifth of 23 in the Plate at the Cheltenham Festival and second at Haydock (2½m, good) when last seen in April. Enters calculations.
Pride Of Place (IRE)
Fairly useful chaser, winner of Killarney National in May and third in the Midlands National at Kilbeggan in July. Made little impact over hurdles on last 2 starts. Headgear now left off and strength in the market should be noted back over fences.
He's Gorgeous (IRE)
Made an encouraging start to chasing, winning a Clonmel maiden and then making the frame in Grade 1 at Leopardstown last December. Back on track fitted with blinkers when third at Punchestown when last seen in June. Headgear left off and market best guide.
Slanagaibhgoleir (IRE)
Opened his chase account at Down Royal last December. Rather snatched defeat from the jaws of victory on his next couple of starts (traded short in-running). Pulled up at Perth (2½m, good, 11/2) in April. Handicapper has given him some respite after 6 months off.
Hashtag Pretender (FR)
Useful winning hurdler who opened his account over fences in extended 2m maiden at Roscommon in August. 15/2, respectable fourth of 13 in handicap chase at Kilbeggan (2½m, good to soft) in September, losing chance when badly hampered between last 2. Remains one to consider off this mark.
Park That (IRE)
Ran well when second of 10 in handicap chase at Punchestown (2m, good, 9/4) when last seen in June. May need a couple of these to falter now back up in trip.
El Champo (IRE)
Won twice over fences in 2025 but hasn't fully fired this season and remains opposable.
Miners Bridge (IRE)
With his reappearance over hurdles in August behind him, has taken advantage of his lower chase mark by scoring at Killarney and Sligo. Can give another good account but this is a stronger race.
Gaelic Des Chastys (FR)
Shaped as if ahead of his mark when unseating 2 out on return at Killarney and built on that when second at Listowel (19f, good to soft) 23 days ago. Must improve upped in grade.
