NAP HAND has match fitness on his side and is taken to resume winning ways in a race that could pan out favourably. Tashan and Cayman Dancer both look potentially dangerous on seasonal reappearance.

Timeform Comments

Nap Hand (IRE)
Useful Flat performer. Doubled his hurdles tally under a good tactical ride at Perth in August. Still in form (beaten 4 lengths) when too free under same conditional over C&D subsequently. May get the run of race back in calmer waters and can resume winning ways if he relaxes for Freddie Gordon.
Sixty Plus (IRE)
Won 4 summer handicap hurdles on the bounce in 2025. Another fruitful spell when completing a quick-fire Flat hat-trick in July of this year. Not for first time let down by his jumping when 13¼-length third back hurdling at Hereford (2½m) 6 days ago. Steadier pace/smaller field may help his cause.
Beorma (IRE)
Suffered a nasty cut when completing a remarkable 7-timer over hurdles/fences at Market Rasen in June. Clearly wasn't 100% (bled) at Stratford on return. Given a further 8 weeks off and looked back in form when 9¾-length fourth at Newton Abbot (21.5f) on Saturday.
Tashan
Last year's reappearance fourth at Chepstow worked out well. Subsequently made it 3 wins from 4 hurdle starts with handicap debut success at Exeter (17f, soft) in November. Season ended under a cloud but returns with yard in excellent form (5 wins from last 18 runners across both codes).
Cayman Dancer
Fairly useful on the Flat. Showed all that relative speed as a juvenile hurdler and should have opened his account at Fontwell (demoted) in March. Typically too keen for his own good at Ascot final start last season. More in the locker if gelding operation/first-time hood curb his free-going ways.
Basilette (IRE)
Quirky mare who can flatter to deceive, as was the case when bidding for a fourth win from 6 hurdle starts at Stratford in July. Deserves credit for getting a second career Flat victory over the line at Brighton last time, though, and clearly in fine heart for this return to hurdling.
