Timeform View

HOOSIER took a step forward on her debut for Marco Botti and she looks to have been let off rather lightly ahead of her nursery bow. Godolphin's Stormy Winter is a likely improver in this company and can pose the biggest threat.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Hoosier traded at a low of 130.00 and Betfair SP of 5.80 when losing last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Maliqui (IRE)
Improved from debut despite still showing signs of inexperience when 8 lengths second of 7 to Flying Pirate at Haydock last month but that form didn't really work out and he was below that level when eighth of 10 in novice at Southwell (7f) 16 days ago. Makes handicap debut. Uphill task.
Stormy Winter
Dark Angel colt who achieved little better than modest form in 3 outings, though had to work hard to bag the early lead from a wide draw at Kempton last time. Has since been gelded and open to progress in nurseries.
Star Bayside Boy (IRE)
In need of the experience on debut for Richard Hughes and showed the benefit of that run for new yard when winning 6-runner novice at Windsor (6f) in August. Down the field both starts in nurseries, though, the hood worn last time now discarded.
Caravel (IRE)
Minzaal filly who was run to a similarly modest level across 3 qualifying runs, dropped back to 6f when last of 4 in a Leicester maiden last time. Might need some progress on handicap debut.
Alfey Moon
Showed some ability in a trio of qualifying runs in the summer. Failed to improve after a 4-month break when seventh of 13 in nursery (6/1) at Leicester (6f, good to firm) 13 days ago but it's possible he'll benefit from the outing.
Hoosier (IRE)
Little show in 2 outings for Michael Bell but offered more after changing hands for 10,000 gns when fourth of 8 in maiden at this course (6f) 14 days ago. Hood worn there is retained and she makes plenty of appeal on nursery bow.
Moriarty Moon
Attracted support but didn't fare much better in a first-time visor in 6f Catterick nursery last month and ran only to a similar level when sixth of 13 at Leicester (6f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. Others make greater appeal.
Lushill (IRE)
Made the frame on 4 of her first 6 starts, most recently when 2½ lengths fourth of 14 in nursery at Newbury (7f, firm) in August. Well below form faced with much softer ground when sixth of 9 in seller at Salisbury (7f, soft, 6/1) 38 days ago. Makes tapeta debut. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Enhancing
Well held on all her 3 qualifying runs and failed to improve having been easy to back when seventh of 13 in nursery at Brighton (1m, good, 14/1) 21 days ago. Not easy to make a case for.
Better Nature
Not disgraced when fifth of 12 in nursery at this C&D (25/1) 31 days ago, though he didn't particularly go with much verve and he'll likely need to improve with cheekpieces on 1st time.
Sacred Rhythm (IRE)
Hinted at ability when fourth at Lingfield on debut but has produced backwards steps both starts since. Significantly up in trip ahead of nursery bow.
Sovereign Beach (IRE)
Progress on nursery debut when third of 6 over this trip at Chepstow but looked stretched by 7f next 2 outings. Underwhelming dropped back to 6f at Southwell last time, so bit to prove at present.
