Timeform View

MEYDAAN has not been seen since finishing third in the Dubai World Cup in March, but he is well suited by these conditions and should have enough class to make a winning return without being fully wound up. Stablemate Treble Tee is respected back on a synthetic surface after winning at Newcastle in June, while Al Zanati is also of interest back on all-weather.

Timeform Comments

Asmen Warrior (IRE)
Upwardly mobile sort who readily landed 13-runner 1m handicap on Newmarket's July course and left impression he should have finished closer when 2½ lengths eighth of 27 to Pierre Royal in the Cambridgeshire last time. Meets several of these on worse terms than he would in a handicap here, though.
Meydaan (IRE)
Very smart and versatile performer who won the Al Maktoum Classic at Meydan in February before finishing 3½ lengths third of 9 to Magnitude in Dubai World Cup there following month. Entitled to be sharper for this after 7 months off but well suited by the race's conditions.
Telemark (IRE)
Has taken well to dirt, winning handicaps at Meydan in December and January. Not at same level up in grade on next 2 starts. Returns from 7-month break and has plenty to find with some of these on official ratings, including his 2 stablemates.
Treble Tee (IRE)
Quickly made up into a smart handicapper last season and got back on the up with a win over 1m Newcastle in June. Below that level in listed events on turf last 2 starts but may do better now returned to the all-weather.
Al Zanati
Group 3 winner on all-weather in France as a juvenile. Returned with a good second in Sandown Classic Trial but struggled in Dante and listed race since. Has since been gelded.
Morris Dancer (IRE)
Palace Pier colt who was most progressive when a dual winner at 2 yrs (including in 1m Salisbury listed event). Resumed with very good third in the Jersey at Royal Ascot but hasn't kicked on in 2 subsequent outings.
