BRYSON had more in hand than the bare margin suggests when winning on his second start for this yard at Uttoxeter on Friday so looks capable of defying a penalty. The thriving Littletown Lad is the obvious threat, while Malangen holds solid place prospects once again.

Mixed record for previous yard (has bled) but confirmed the promise of his stable debut when off the mark at Uttoxeter on Friday, a late delivery from this rider possibly masking his dominance. Obvious claims under a penalty.
Bobby Socks
Successful in a brace of 2½m handicaps in 2023. Made only a handful of starts since and well held both starts for new yard after 16 months off. Headgear goes on.
Tracker Issue (IRE)
Regressive maiden on the Flat who made more impact than previously over hurdles when ¾-length second in Sedgefield novice in August. Much better effort in handicaps when fifth there 3 weeks ago but was still beaten over 10 lengths.
Littletown Lad (IRE)
Strong traveller who has settled better of late and it has resulted in a pair of Sedgefield wins in recent months. Sent for home too far out when bidding for a hat-trick there 2 weeks ago and remains one to be positive about.
Jedhi Knight
A 2m winner on the level in 2025 for Jedd O'Keeffe. Failed to build on hurdling debut third for Harry Derham and just modest form at best on the Flat for current yard.
Walk On Son (IRE)
Lost his way after hitting the frame in a novice/maiden at the end of last year and hasn't fared any better in handicaps following a breathing operation. Back over hurdles after failing to get past the first on chase bow/return.
Snapaudaciaheros (IRE)
Showed improved form in first-time headgear when getting off the mark over C&D in April and quickly resumed progress when winning again here in June. Might have found next run the following week coming too soon and she's been off since.
Huit Reflets (FR)
Dual winner over fences last season but just the one decent effort this campaign, running poorly back over hurdles latest.
Billy Bathgate
Finally got off the mark on the Flat this summer but not at his best since. Watching brief the percentage call on belated return to hurdles.
Malangen (IRE)
Front-running veteran. Placed for the sixth time this season when second to a subsequent winner at Kelso last time but he's now 19 runs without a victory.
