Much improved since joining current yard, making it 4 wins from 5 starts over fences at Perth (2m) in July, Posted a good second at Kelso since and is 10 lb lower over hurdles. Must be of interest.
Codger's Rock (IRE)
Found improvement when second of 16 in handicap hurdle at Clonmel (2½m) earlier this month. Not in quite same form when third over shorter trip at Sedgefield 2 days ago but must be respected.
Kool Raoul (FR)
Underlined a positive start over hurdles when runner-up in a 2½m maiden here last November. Didn't go on as expected in handicaps but is now 7 lb lower than his opening mark and hails from a yard that had a couple of winners last week.
Forest Blaze
Generally reliable and bagged a couple of handicaps over this C&D in 2024/25. Placed on a few occasions last season but campaign ended poorly and he is entitled to need this.
The Jeweller's Pet (IRE)
Ended last campaign with pair of placed efforts at Ayr in February. Not seen since but is fairly treated if ready to roll on return.
Well Educated (IRE)
Four-time course winner who bounced back to form when creditable second of 6 in handicap hurdle over C&D (good) 18 days ago. Likely to make presence felt again.
Lester Mail (FR)
Fair bumper winner but not quite reached that level over hurdles yet. Posted creditable fourth at Kelso when last seen in May and may have more to offer in this sphere yet.
Les's Legacy
Four-time course winner who was returning from 3 months off when creditable third of 6 in handicap hurdle over C&D (good, 14/1) 18 days ago. Entitled to build on that.
Mickthesoldier (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who was suited by the increase in trip when good fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle (28/1) at Cartmel (2¾m, good) in May. May find this on the sharp side.
