This looks easier than the race PIETRO was third in at the Doncaster St Leger meeting and he can resume winning ways. Yarmouth specialist Gorgeous Mr George is feared most ahead of the ultra-consistent Korbut.

Four-time winner who looked back in form on his second outing back from a break when third of 13 in a Class 2 at Doncaster (6.5f, good to firm) last month. Bold show likely.
Majestic Dane
Made a successful debut at Newcastle (7f) in January. Stepped up on that form when second under a penalty there a month later but has struggled badly in 2 handicaps since returning to action at the end of the summer. Still early days but can only watch this time.
Gorgeous Mr George (IRE)
Five-time course winner, including twice over 1m in June. Not seen to best effect when sixth of 11 at this course (1m again) 15 days ago, not ideally placed. Visor on first time. Merits consideration for in-form yard.
Passing Thought
Took a big step forward when winning on handicap debut/reappearance at Wetherby (7f, good to firm) in April but has struggled since.
Havana Smile
Third in handicaps at Sandown (5f, soft) and Epsom (7f, good to soft) in recent months. Likely to be competitive under Toby Moore.
Korbut
Proving very consistent and gained a deserved breakthrough success in maiden at Ffos Las (7f) in August. Solid efforts back in handicap company since and she's likely to be in the thick of things again.
Golden Pharaoh (IRE)
Sole win from 25 runs came at Ffos Las (7f, heavy) last autumn. Generally struggled on all-weather early this year and well beaten in 2 comeback outings this month.
Ecclefechan
Belated step up to 1m the catalyst for back-to-back successes at Windsor and this course in August. Recent efforts, including here, suggest he may have gone off the boil.
Noble Guest
Well treated on last year's form but 2026 has been largely disappointing.
