Not the most straightforward but landed a couple of 1m Carlisle handicaps this summer. Been a mixed bag since, however, and others appeal more.
Princess Honey Bee
Found some improvement when chasing home a useful prospect at Ripon (1m) in July and ran to similar level when opening account at Lingfield (1m) last month. Not in same form over longer trip at Yarmouth latest but can't be ruled out here.
Arkenstaar
Thrived last autumn when a 3-time 1m winner on turf. Ran well when third at Hamilton on return in May but below par all 4 starts since.
Starliner (IRE)
Runner-up 4 of 5 starts prior to winning C&D handicap last month. Needs to bounce back from a poor run at Ayr since, though.
Second Fiddle (IRE)
Multiple course winner who returned to form when creditable fourth of 11 in handicap (4/1) over C&D 8 days ago, never nearer. Races off same mark here and must enter calculations.
Henry Halflight (IRE)
Confirmed his debut promise at the second attempt when winning a C&D maiden in March and back to that sort of form when good sixth of 10 in handicap at this course (7f, 66/1) 19 days ago. More needed to defy current mark.
Chesneys Charm
Course winner back in 2024 but yet to win this year and has been tried over longer trips of late. Others are more convincing.
Poppeye
Lightly-raced maiden who posted another fair effort when creditable fifth of 9 in handicap at Redcar (1¼m, good, 10/3) 59 days ago. Drop back in trip may well suit.
Bajan Bandit
Capitalised on falling mark when scoring here last month and backed that up with solid third of 11 in handicap over C&D 25 days ago, running on. Merits consideration.
Shes Got The Blues (IRE)
Made it 4 wins from 14 starts this year when landing 10-runner handicap at Brighton (7f, good, 10/1) 22 days ago. Just 2 lb higher now and is not taken lightly.
Sogniamo
Has struggled since winning a Hamilton novice (80/1) on stable debut/ reappearance in May, going with little encouragement when sixth of 11 in handicap over longer trip at this course 19 days ago. Blinkers replace cheekpieces.
