Preference is for POCKLEY, who left behind his first 2 efforts of the season when making the frame here 4 days ago. The 10-time course winner is taken to build on that effort to add to his tally, with Spirited Dancer feared most having shaped well in 2 starts for her current yard. Auntie Jo completes the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Harry Whodeanie traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Aleppo Pepper (IRE)
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who shaped as if better for the outing after 5 months off (had a breathing operation) when last of 9 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f) 16 days ago. This run should reveal more with tongue strap added back down in trip.
Pockley
Six-time C&D winner with his latest success under David Allan a year ago. Offered little on first 2 starts back this autumn, but returned to form when fourth of 10 here 4 days ago. Now 5 lb below his last winning mark, so he's interesting with cheekpieces back on.
Auntie Jo
Successful twice over C&D when previously trained by David O'Meara this season. Stepped up on stable debut effort when third at Musselburgh in June, before a below-par effort back up to 6f at Wolverhampton next time. Possibilities returned to 5f with blinkers back on.
Ellie's De Vega
Ran up to best to get off the mark on third start for current yard in 9-runner handicap over C&D last month, the runner-up franking the form since. However, he couldn't match that effort when fifth of 9 here on latest outing.
Wee Mary (IRE)
Winner of a classified event over C&D in January and made all to also land a Musselburgh handicap in June. Has made the frame 5 times since, though bounce back now called for after a poor run at Musselburgh in August.
Liquid Cooled (IRE)
Successful on handicap debut at this course (6f) in March and made the frame on turf next 2 starts. Was doing his best work late on when third of 7 back here in September, so he's one to note even if he does have to prove himself over this shorter trip.
Doon The Glen
Successful twice at Hamilton (6f) this season, the latest in July. Not in the same form next few starts, but having eased back down in the weights he ran creditably when 1¾ lengths fourth of 8 at the same course (5f) a month ago.
Dinamo (IRE)
Narrow winner of a Thirsk nursery for Karl Burke last summer but found things tougher the remainder of the campaign. After 13 months off ahead of stable debut, went with little promise when last of 6 in handicap at Beverley in September.
Siviez
Fared better than previously in handicaps this season when staying on for fourth in 11-runner event at Catterick (5f) in May. Failed to build on that effort, though, when seventh of 10 at Ayr (6f) later the same month and has been absent since.
Spirited Dancer
Sole success came back in May 2024 but has shaped encouragingly in 2 outings since leaving Daniel & Claire Kubler, denied a clear run when 1¾ lengths fifth of 11 at Wolverhampton 18 days ago. Could be thereabouts from her much-reduced mark.
Moretons
Remains a maiden and has been struggling for form, finishing well held when last of 6 in novice over this C&D 4 days ago.
Harry Whodeanie
Not much impact in his qualifying runs last year, but fitted with cheekpieces he fared no better when down the field in handicap at Redcar (1m) in November. Off 11 months ahead of first run since leaving Ben Haslam. Now switches to a hood.
