This looks really open but KNEBWORTH Is a very reliable operator on all-weather so is awarded the vote. Jax Edge is well drawn to adopt her customary tactics and she's dangerous if getting into her rhythm, while Silent Strike should have more to offer post gelding operation.

Timeform Comments

Dark Cloud Rising
Slipped below his last winning mark and took full advantage at Ripon in June. More miss than hit since, albeit in a few deep handicaps and this is a slight drop in class back on all-weather (won at Newcastle this time last year).
Knebworth
Ended 2025 out of form but proved better than ever to start this year, scoring at Chelmsford in January and C&D in March. Fitter for Doncaster run when third at Kempton on Wednesday and his all-weather record is a positive one.
Regal Envoy (IRE)
In top form to start 2026, successful at Bath in May and Windsor the following month. Found things tougher after but having edged down in the weights he returned to form when runner-up on all-weather at Lingfield last month (5f). Heavy defeat at Ascot since and first go at 6f for a while.
Dandana
Hit the ground running last summer and useful form in handicaps over 6f this year, finishing fourth at Windsor in July then second of 7 at Salisbury (both 6f). Drop to the minimum trip looked against her at Lingfield latest and quickly back up in distance. Stall 13 isn't ideal.
Purosangue
Smart performer at best for Andrew Balding. Proved that he retains plenty of ability initially in handicaps for current yard this season though he looks to have gone off the boil.
Silent Strike (IRE)
Progressed with each of first 3 starts, landing odds in a Kempton maiden before producing a useful effort when second under a penalty at Newcastle in March. Possible to excuse both runs in handicaps soon after and he retains potential for bang in-form yard having been gelded.
Kullazain
Just about better than ever on the back of a gelding operation when doubling his tally over C&D in December. Into his shell in 3 starts since but he's edging down to that winning mark.
Kind Touch (IRE)
Winning debut last summer at Ripon and arrives on the up at that venue, runner-up last 2 starts over 6f. Stall 12 to contend with on all-weather debut.
Artagnan (IRE)
Tongue tie worked the oracle when doubling tally at Chelmsford (6f) a year ago. Sound in-frame efforts on 3 of 4 starts in 2026 for Hamad Al Jehani but low-key stable debut at Pontefract 2 weeks ago.
Alfa Whiteburd (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick at Pontefract in August and did well to make the frame after setting a strong gallop when fourth of 12 in handicap at Chester (7f, soft). Didn't get away with a forceful ride back here 2 weeks ago and now goes back in distance.
Saffron Dandy (IRE)
Produced a career-best effort with the run of the race when successful on heavy going at Goodwood last time (5f). Different conditions and brushed aside at Doncaster in July. Given a short break and back on all-weather/6f.
Jax Edge
Speedy mare with a good strike rate, winning twice over C&D in 2024 and added to good Bath record for latest success in June. Shaped well a few times since and could be dangerous from a handy draw.
Style King (IRE)
Looked to have found his level but has sprung to life in recent months, gaining third win since July when making all over C&D 17 days ago. Up 7 lb in a better race and stall 10 another stumbling block.
