Timeform View

The return to a stiff 6f looks ideal for DANDY MAGIC, who is very much at the top of her game at present. Lady Roxby also arrives in good nick and is likely to be a threat if the outside stall isn't too troublesome. Ghisa is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Sing The Blues (IRE)
Ex-William Haggas filly. Improved when winning 6f handicaps at Newmarket and Glorious Goodwood (both good to firm) on first 2 starts for this yard. Has come up short in listed company twice since (including C&D) but more chance back handicapping.
Mubasimah (IRE)
Useful but well held when dropped to 6f for the first time at Newmarket last month. Hardly an obvious one after that.
Wor Faayth (IRE)
Won a 6f French listed race last summer. Didn't offer obvious encouragement when last of 6 in 5f Beverley conditions event on belated reappearance but entitled to come on for the outing and her stable has been among the winners in recent days.
Stormy Impact
Had a productive 3-y-o campaign. Looked back in form when second at Hamilton (5f) last month but subsequent C&D fourth of 12 only respectable. Has been coming off the bridle early in her races so it's possible she'll benefit from first-time cheekpieces.
Beaujolais Nouveau
Won at Ripon (6f, good to firm) in May. Some creditable efforts in defeat since but below par last twice. Well treated again but hard to be sure she's in the form to take advantage.
Lady Roxby
Runner-up in 6f handicaps at Kempton and Yarmouth (good) last month. Creditable fourth of 10 at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) since. The draw could have been kinder but she still enters calculations.
Homestrait (IRE)
Dual 7f winner this year. Continued in good form when also placed twice over 7f at Chester last month (including second to Ghisa) but her last 2 efforts have been below par. Drops back in trip now.
Ghisa (IRE)
First handicap success when edging out the reopposing Homestrait at Chester (7f, soft) 38 days ago. Still feasibly treated if fully effective back at 6f.
Powdering (IRE)
Got off the mark for the season on the Newmarket July course in the summer but consistency has been an issue since, finishing behind stablemate Lady Roxby at Newmarket last time.
Dandy Magic (IRE)
Capitalised on reduced mark to open her account for the season at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) in August. Remained in good heart since, understandable her effort should flatten out late after making a big move into contention when third over 7f at Musselburgh last Monday. Return to 6f ideal.
