ANOTHER BAAR has dropped to a very handy mark and has shaped as if back on decent terms with himself without really getting the rub of the green on his last 2 outings, so gets the verdict over Vantheman, who should prove suited by this drop back to 5f and the in-form Brummell.

Timeform Comments

Rogue Enforcer
Capped last year with success in a Milan listed race. Yet to fire for current yard, only fourth of 5 in handicap (14/1) at Ffos Las (5f, good to firm) when last seen in June. Off 112 days.
Vantheman (IRE)
Landed a 6f maiden as a 2-y-o but all wins since have been at 5f, the latest at Hamilton (5f) in May. Looked in top form for a long way when fourth of 24 in the Ayr Bronze Cup (6f, soft, 20/1) 31 days ago and drop back in trip promises to suit.
Another Baar
Not at his best since scoring at Bahrain in January but his mark is now an interesting one and he was better than the result when seventh of 23 in the Ayr Silver Cup. Finished well after lacking room when seventh of 12 at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 23 days ago and he makes appeal with visor back on
Our Cody (IRE)
Best effort when fourth of 8 in a Listed at Sandown in June but hasn't beaten a rival returned to handicap company on her last 2 starts.
Brummell (IRE)
Was a shade unlucky to lose his unbeaten record at Beverley last month, having to wait for a gap over 1f out and collared at the death. Ran creditably again when fifth of 11 in handicap at Leicester (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago and he can give another good account.
Call To Action (IRE)
Lightly-raced performer who produced a career best to get the better of Brummell by a neck in a 12-runner handicap (5/1) at Beverley (5f, good) 33 days ago. 4 lb higher mark means another step forward is required.
Rock Of England (IRE)
Reliable sort has already scored 4 times in a solid campaign, most recent at Ripon towards the end of August. Backed that up with another respectable third of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) 36 days ago and he should give his running again.
Changeofmind (IRE)
Back to winning ways at C&D in May and was placed on back-to-back outings at Newcastle and Haydock in August/September. The evidence of his last 2 starts suggest he's now gone off the boil, though.
Startling
Scored at Southwell (5f) in September and never looked like being caught when following up to register a first turf win at Redcar (5f) 12 days later. Pitching for a long way upped in grade at Musselburgh last time but eventually found gap in class telling and it may prove a similar story here.
Vince L'amour (IRE)
Up-and-down performer who ran one of this season's better races when sixth of 20 at Ayr (5f, soft) in September but failed to beat a rival in an 8-runner race at Hamilton 3 weeks ago.
