Fair/prolific winner on the Flat (stays 11f) for James Owen yard. Shaped fairly well in a couple of hurdle starts for Olly Murphy, latest when runner-up in a better race at Market Rasen. Unlikely to benefit from a sound gallop this time, but may have enough in hand to win regardless.
Ez Tiger (IRE)
Has paid his way at this level. Defied a career-high mark to record a fifth hurdle success in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Back in 0-100 company following a couple of quieter runs over the summer and in-form yard has presumably targeted him at this race (3 lb higher than last year).
Bohemian Breeze (IRE)
Quirky sort who arrives fit from Flat (won twice this summer). Placed in 3 maiden hurdles (twice over C&D) prior to a 9-length fifth on handicap bow at Kempton this time last year. Better prospects down in class for second handicap hurdle start, even with relatively inexperienced claimer booked.
Mix De Gris (FR)
Free-going sort. Hit the frame in a couple of handicap hurdles for Lucinda Russell in 2025. Typically looked a less-than-straightforward ride on return/stable debut on the Flat in August and questions to answer back hurdling.
Daring To Dream
Maiden who is proving difficult to catch right. Typically not fluent when failing to build on her previous run in a Bangor handicap latest. Has been given by the handicapper but she's no sure thing to oblige.
Mc'flo
Headstrong sort. Ran even worse for the switch to patient tactics at Stratford (2¾m) last time. Remains opposable from 6 lb out of the handicap.
