Timeform View

GREEN STAR's latest Redcar fourth was underwhelming but he sets the standard on his opening Chester second prior to that and is given another chance from the inside stall under Buick. War Gaming is the obvious form threat, although the selection's stablemate High Tower has the potential to leave his Salisbury debut behind.

Timeform Comments

Green Star (IRE)
Shaped well when second of 8 in maiden at Chester (7f, good to soft) on debut in September. Went backwards from that when 5 lengths fourth over 7f at Redcar since but looks to have struck upon a winnable race and given another chance dropped to 6f.
High Tower
9/4, needed experience when third of 5 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good) on debut in July. William Buick is on the yard's other runner but this recently gelded son of Havana Grey is open to improvement.
Longshanks Luke
Fair form when fourth over C&D and 6f at Hamilton (both good to firm) in August. Back from 10 weeks off without the blinkers he's worn previously. Yard in flying form.
Paphos (IRE)
€60,000 breeze-up purchase who has shown speed and a fair level of form in his 3 outings but will need to raise his game to take this.
War Gaming (IRE)
Fair form. Ran up to his best in refitted cheekpieces when close third in 6f Ffos Las maiden (good to firm) last time. A prominent showing is likely.
Harmonising (IRE)
Foaled February 11. Mehmas filly. Half-sister to useful French 9.5f winner Ajayeb and French 15f winner Mellow. Dam US 1m-1¼m winner (including dual Grade 1). Irish stable's only 2-y-o runner in Britain this year was a winner. Needs checking out in the betting.
