Timeform View

BURFORD BEAUTY and Distillate both landed gambles recently and they top the shortlist, the former marginally preferred. Camera Shy is another to consider after a more encouraging run last time.

Special Breeze traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Age Of Baroque (FR)
Ran well a couple of times on turf this summer. C&D winner but has struggled back on all-weather last 2 starts. Tongue strap back on.
Von Krolock (IRE)
Back to best when recording a third win on all-weather this year at Lingfield in August. Weak in market when below par here next time but fared better when mid-field at Wolverhampton.
Burford Beauty (IRE)
Failed to win a race for Gavin Cromwell in Ireland but justified strong support to make a winning start for this yard at Brighton 2 weeks ago, the drop back to this trip in her favour. Likely player again up 4 lb.
Special Breeze
Maiden who was better placed than most when second here (1m) on final start for Pam Sly and ran to a similar level starting out for this yard when fifth over the same C&D. Needs to find more off current mark.
Rosemary's Rose (IRE)
Dual 1m all-weather winner early this year. Has largely been running well while proving expensive to follow of late, runner-up on heavy ground at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago.
Camera Shy (IRE)
Ended a losing run stretching back to his debut when getting up late over C&D in March. Hard to catch right but now 4 lb below his winning mark and he fared better than of late when re-fitted in this headgear at Kempton 2 weeks ago.
Call Glory (IRE)
Largely consistent since winning twice here in January, going close at Salisbury in July, but has been off since running below par on firm ground the following month.
Infantry Officer
Won first 2 starts in handicaps back in March 2025. This headstrong sort has mostly struggled since but he shaped as if back in form at Lingfield in October that year. Off since (sold from Michael Bell for 8,000 gns) and new yard drops him back in trip.
Distillate
Irish raider who capitalised on her reduced mark when landing a gamble over C&D on Thursday, albeit seen to better effect than the runner-up. Remains well treated under a penalty.
Aspire To Glory (IRE)
Bounced back to form with a bang when making all at Wolverhampton in September but pulled too hard under this rider (was having his first ride in public) there last week.
