It could be worth keeping the faith with BEARISH who returns from a break following a gelding operation. Elite Approach is proving most progressive so is feared most ahead of Yankee Dude and Moonlight Warrior.

Timeform Comments

Yankee Dude (IRE)
Won 2 novices on all-weather as a 2-y-o. Very lightly raced since but shaped as if worth a try at this trip when fifth at Kempton 6 weeks ago.
Duke's Command
Won 3 times in 2025 and stepped up on return from a 5-month break when third over C&D. Disappointed back on turf next time but he's possibly better on all-weather nowadays.
Bearish (IRE)
Progressive sort who scored for the second time when making a successful start to his handicap career at Ayr in July, getting up late to deny a next-time-out winner. Strong in the betting but disappointed both starts after. Has since been gelded and too soon to be writing him off.
Shimmy Jimmy (IRE)
Won twice in Italy early last season, including in listed company at Rome, but hasn't recaptured that form and didn't do enough to make himself of much interest on yard debut at Kempton last month.
Breakdancer (IRE)
Two all-weather wins last summer (the second over C&D). Plenty of creditable efforts in defeat this year but remains 6 lb above last winning mark.
Proud Nation (IRE)
On a decent mark on the pick of his form but he failed to make much of an impact (tried in headgear) on all-weather bow 2 weeks ago.
Wesam (IRE)
Debut winner at Newcastle last autumn. No impact in 3 turf handicaps since and hopes now pinned on the return to all-weather.
Mr Baloo (IRE)
Resumed winning ways in first-time cheekpieces at Lingfield in April but well below that level since. Sold from Richard Hannon for 12,500 gns and has been gelded.
Moonlight Warrior (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise when narrow winner at Newcastle a year ago. Work to do to defy his opening mark on his belated return (has been gelded) but he remains with potential given his profile.
Paladin (IRE)
Made a winning stable debut at Wolverhampton in January. Very good second at Ascot in July but nothing to shout about since.
Elite Approach
Has improved with each outing to date, value for extra when off the mark in 5-runner novice at Newcastle. Excellent close fourth on handicap bow here (7f) 11 days ago, shaping as if this extra 1f will be within reach.
