Timeform View

I LOVE YOU SIVOLA revived on first outing for Max Comley when scoring at Hereford last week and should cope with the return to a shorter trip, so he's taken to follow up under a 7-lb penalty. County Champs is a little unlucky to still be a long-standing maiden and he's second choice, ahead of lightly-raced 5-y-o Sailing By, who could potentially raise his game now moving up in distance.

Timeform Comments

County Champs (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but looked the likely winner when falling 2 out on second start for this yard over C&D in September. Found only one too good from a 4 lb higher mark back here (19f) 18 days ago and remains of interest.
Sailing By (IRE)
Bits and pieces of promise in bumpers/over hurdles, seeming unsuited by emphasis on speed when seventh of 10 on handicap debut at Chepstow (19f, good) on final outing in March. Longer trip will suit and rates a potential improver.
Footage Detectives
Sent off at long odds and hinted at ability in 2m novice/maiden hurdles over the spring. Went with little promise upped in trip on handicap debut/reappearance at Market Rasen 13 days ago but still looked very green.
I Love You Sivola (FR)
Revived on first run since leaving Helen Nelmes when winning 8-runner handicap hurdle at Hereford (3¼m, good to firm) last week. Should cope with the drop back in trip given he had plenty of form over shorter in France, so gets the vote to defy a 7-lb penalty with cheekpieces back on.
Lakeview Lass
Always behind in a pair of bumpers but offered a glimmer of promise on second hurdles start when sixth of 14 in a Chepstow maiden (2m) in April. Failed to repeat that effort on reappearance at this course but may do better now handicapping over a longer trip. First-time cheekpieces applied.
Ritaan (IRE)
Headstrong sort who showed fair form in 3 Flat starts for Harry Eustace before changing hands for 42,000 gns but has been most underwhelming over hurdles, including in handicaps.
Ghost Jury (IRE)
Point winner in May but mixed bag back under Rules since, producing a below-par effort here 18 days ago. Bounce back required.
Anothermanicmonday (IRE)
Lightly-raced 6-y-o maiden. Fared better than previously when 10 lengths fifth on second handicap start over C&D in May. However, failed to repeat that effort 9 weeks on at Newton Abbot.
