Timeform View

DADDY STAR showed plenty of ability when finishing runner up on debut in a Yarmouth maiden (7f) 5 weeks ago, making her effort on the opposite flank to the winner and finishing nicely clear of the rest. She's the type to build on that effort and holds sound claims from a handy draw. Out Late may emerge as the lead danger, with Stilton a newcomer to note from the Hugo Palmer stable.

Timeform Comments

Alanah Bananah
Too Darn Hot filly who looks to be being brought along gradually, stepping up a little on her debut effort when not knocked about fourth of 7 in a Catterick maiden (7f) 3 weeks ago. Remains capable of better but it could be middle-distance handicaps we see the best of her in due course.
Blistering
Foaled February 26. €240,000 yearling, Too Darn Hot filly. Dam, 9.2f winner, half-sister to high-class 1m-1½m winner Vadamos out of 1¼m-1½m winner Celebre Vadala. Makes obvious paper appeal but yard yet to strike with a 2-y-o debutant at time of writing this season.
Daddy Star (IRE)
€110,000 2-y-o, No Nay Never filly who showed plenty of ability when second of 7 in a Yarmouth maiden (7f) 5 weeks ago, making her move on the opposite flank to the winner and finishing clear of the rest. Looks sure to build on that.
Friendly Force
Sister to connections' precocious sprinting juvenile Persian Force. Did at least show a bit more than on her C&D debut when 7 lengths fifth of 10 in a Newmarket maiden last time (beaten when hampered over 1f out). Will make more appeal in nurseries.
Intangible Truth (IRE)
40,000 gns Sioux Nation filly from an excellent yard. However, has looked on the weak side and she went backwards from her debut when fifth of 6 in a Newmarket maiden (7f) 11 days ago. In good hands and probably one for later on.
My Spritely
Big prices and well held in a pair of 7f turf novice events in recent months. Low-grade nurseries will be more her thing after this.
Out Late (IRE)
Blue Point filly. Half-sister to 7f winner Norfolk Blue. 8/1, ran green but found the penny dropping late on when sixth of 10 in a Newmarket maiden (7f, firm) 25 days ago, making headway inside final 1f without getting on terms. Very much the type to improve.
Stilton
Foaled April 18. Havana Grey filly. Half-sister to useful 6f-7f winner Zero Carbon and smart winner up to 11f Molveno. Dam 1m/8.3f winner. Stable have enjoyed success with their newcomers this season and she commands a market check for positive vibes.
