Timeform View

A reproduction of the form POSSUM showed in a handicap at Listowel last month could be good enough. Dual bumper scorer Teofil can win on the Flat too based on his runner-up effort at Thurles recently. The selection's 3-time hurdle winning stablemate Quinta Do Lago is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Ard Ri Na Heireann (IRE)
Tailed off in bumper and 3 Flat maidens.
First Ascent (IRE)
Fairly useful on the Flat earlier in his career and a fair hurdle winner for his current stable. Back on the level after a below-par run in a handicap hurdle at last month's Listowel Festival.
Peace Pebble (IRE)
Fastnet Rock gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including German 2-y-o 7.4f winner Peaches and German 2-y-o 6.5f winner Peace of Paris. This is a belated debut but Billy Lee takes the ride on this Willie McCreery runner. Check the betting.
Quinta Do Lago (FR)
Has developed into a useful 3-time winner over hurdles. Shane Foley seemingly prefers Possum but this 4-y-o should still be up to making his presence felt in a race like this now switching to the Flat.
Teofil (IRE)
Useful dual bumper winner this summer who was second of 9 in maiden at Thurles (16.6f, good to soft) on Flat debut 13 days ago, clear of rest. One for the shortlist.
Tullyhill (FR)
Useful jumper for Willie Mullins at his best but pulled up in Listowel handicap chase on last month's debut for a new stable. Best watched on this belated Flat debut.
Daily Wonder (IRE)
Well held all 3 starts in maidens.
Ginnos Oasis (IRE)
Down the field in 2 similar races in recent days. Significantly up in trip.
Royal Ballet Blue (IRE)
Seemed to show fair form on Curragh debut but well beaten on both outings since. Significantly up in trip.
Betsy Trotwood (USA)
Well held over 6f at Dundalk and 10.4f at Roscommon in recent weeks. Significantly up in trip with cheekpieces also added.
Possum (IRE)
Stepped up on her previous efforts fitted with cheekpieces when 4 lengths fifth of 8 to Count Bezukhov in extended 1¾m handicap at Listowel last time. Leading claims on that performance returned to maiden company. Shane Foley seemingly prefers her to Quinta Do Lago.
Rose Sienna (IRE)
Camelot filly who has been well held in a maiden (for Johnny Murtagh) and claimer (for Sean Davis) 8 months apart. Big outsider setting out for another stable.
