Timeform View

CARRIGANS GROVE has hinted at a revival on her last 2 starts and is taken to capitalise on a reduced mark with cheekpieces back on. Rodeeve is feared most if backing up her C&D third last time ahead of El Fontenaro. Well-treated course specialist Step Back In Time and Alnofoor completing the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Coincidental Glory (IRE)
Yet to win on turf but he's hit the frame 8 times this year, including last 2 starts, finishing 1¼ lengths third of 17 to Mymomentintime in 5f handicap at Curragh on latest.
Eschweiler (IRE)
Good second in 7f Epsom maiden last summer for Gary & Josh Moore. Has failed to repeat that since, though, including on sole outing for Ross O'Sullivan and on debut for current yard last time (gelded prior).
Carrigans Grove (IRE)
Much improved in 2025, winning 3 times. Has underachieved this season but has made a bit more impact on last 2 starts, finishing third at Cork at September and when 6 lengths fourth of 22 to Rosato over C&D last time despite not being seen to best effect from off the pace. Cheekpieces back on.
El Fontenaro (IRE)
Had twice gone close before finally opening her account at Cork (6f good to firm) in late-July. Has shaped as if still in good form on both outings since, slowly away when 1¾ lengths fifth of 9 to One Cool Bear at Bellewstown last time.
Friendly Invoice (IRE)
Signed off 2025 with success in a Dundalk nursery (6f) in November. Twice placed there in February but well held both starts on turf since returning from a summer break.
One Cool Bear (IRE)
Capitalised on a reduced mark in a change of headgear when finally got off the mark at Bellewstown in early-October but has been below that level both starts since and needs to bounce back.
Rodeeve
Gained a first win at Fairyhouse in June and by far her best effort since when 4¼ lengths third of 22 to Rosato in C&D event last time. Cheekpieces back on and she's considered with a repeat.
Alnofoor
Won over C&D and Bellewstown to start the campaign and shaped well when third at the Curragh. Those races came on soft/heavy ground, though, and below form under less testing conditions last 2 starts.
Raven's Call (IRE)
Some promise in sprint maidens last year but showed nothing switched to a handicap after 9 months off at Down Royal in July. First-time cheekpieces applied.
Ukiyo (IRE)
Never looked like justifying support on rare start over the minimum trip at Hamilton in August but had previously reached the frame 4 times this season.
Plushy (IRE)
Placed twice at Dundalk early in the year for Gavin Cromwell. Well held on debut for current yard.
Whatswrongnow (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who was placed for the seventh time this year when third of 14 at Roscommon last month. Below form last 2 starts, though.
Another Nice'day (IRE)
Got off the mark from 6 lb out of the handicap in a 10-runner event over 5f here in July and has largely held his form since, albeit without threatening to defy higher marks.
Gold Inn (IRE)
Went the wrong way for Andrew Slattery and but turned in best effort since joining current yard when 2¾ lengths sixth of 17 to Mymomentintime at Curragh last time.
Aboveheronlysky (IRE)
Third in a strong C&D maiden on sole 2-y-o start, but has struggled badly this year after missing all of 2025.
Gonirianbotharleat (IRE)
Has offered little in a quartet of maidens at Dundalk. Makes handicap and turf debut.
Micasso (IRE)
Winner at Bellewstown (1m) in July. In and out since but shaped better than distance beaten when seventh of 15 in handicap at Killarney (1m, soft) 16 days ago, going too freely. No forlorn hope.
Amazing Force (IRE)
Little form in varied events.
Emily's Boy (IRE)
No impact in maidens or handicaps.
Sand Art (IRE)
Got off the mark in first-time blinkers in 6f handicap at Sligo in August. Below form both starts since and blinkers that had been left off on both of those occasions now go back on.
Step Back In Time (IRE)
Successful 4 times at this course. Has largely struggled this year, but can have a line put through last run and is well treated if able to bounce back to form.
