Timeform View

This looks a decent opportunity for the consistent NAUTIC STAR to gain a deserved first success. Elmakaya and Vishaya were both below-par last time but would pose the biggest threats if able to bounce back to their bests.

Timeform Comments

Almost Okay (IRE)
Showed more than first time up fitted with a tongue tie when 11¼ lengths fourth of 5 to White Sand Beach in maiden at Bellewstown last time but almost certainly one for handicaps.
Celestial Siren (IRE)
Runner-up on 3 of her 6 starts and produced her best effort in form terms when second of 11 in minor event at Naas (7f, good to soft, 16/1), having run of race when last seen just over a year ago. Market might prove best guide as to expectations on comeback.
Elmakaya (IRE)
Seemed to find a real chunk of progress when third in a Killarney minor event in August but faded into ninth at Navan (1m, good, 9/2) 35 days ago. Player if back near her best.
Freyas Charm (IRE)
€3,000 foal, €10,000 yearling, Alkumait filly. Half-sister to 7f/1m winner Ha Long Bay. Dam, 7f/1m winner, half-sister to smart 11f-17f winner Amade. Unlikely type on paper. Wears cheekpieces.
Jenny Spider (IRE)
€48,000 yearling. Half-sister to several winners, including useful 7f/1m winner (stays 1¼m) Mother Country (by Dawn Approach) and 2-y-o 5f winner (stays 7f) Banddar (by Dark Angel). Dam 2-y-o 7f/1m winner. Yard having good spell. Wears tongue strap.
Maybe Art (IRE)
Saddex filly. Dam unraced. Not really bred for the Flat and would be a surprise debut winner.
Nautic Star (IRE)
Consistent filly who has made the frame all 6 starts this year, most recently when fourth of 17 in maiden at Fairyhouse (7f, good) 30 days ago. Should be thereabouts again.
Oracle Of Delphi (IRE)
€3,000 King of Change filly. Blinkered and ran to just a poor level when sixth of 11 in maiden (22/1) at Naas (7f, soft) on debut 11 days ago.
Palace Fever (IRE)
Palace Pier filly was tongue tied on her debut but showed plenty to work on when eighth of 17 in maiden (11/1) at Fairyhouse (7f, good) on debut 30 days ago, not knocked about after lacking a clear run. Likely to improve.
Palina (GER)
Open to improvement following encouraging 8½ lengths third on debut at Cork (10.5f, heavy) in May. Faces drop back in trip/contrasting ground on her return and the market should help guide.
Right On Time (IRE)
Unfortunately filly. 100/1, last of 13 in maiden at this course (6f, good to soft) on debut 14 days ago. Up in trip.
Stella Bianca (IRE)
€22,000 yearling, Blue Point filly. Closely related to smart winner up to 1¾m Layfayette and half-sister to 3 winners, including useful 1m winner Atsila and 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Urlucc. Yard not associated with debut winners.
The Hidden Garden (IRE)
Australia filly has looked a longer-term prospect when down the field in maidens at the Curragh/Naas.
Vishaya (IRE)
Improved when runner-up to a more experienced rival on handicap bow at Killarney in July. Not in same form back in maiden company when fifth of 13 at Gowran (1m, good to firm) 88 days ago but pick of efforts means she's still shortlisted.
Wynette (IRE)
Coulsty filly. Half-sister to useful 6f/7f winner Pagan. Dam unraced. Pedigree isn't anything special and probably best watched unless market indicates otherwise.
