GETAWAY MASTER is 2 lb lower than when successful over Drop Kick here last year, and he may be able to confirm that form with the benefit of a comeback run. Is She Now looks a danger over hurdles for first time since joining current yard, with Royal Rhythm and Fourofakind others to consider in an open race.

Timeform Comments

Micks Jet (IRE)
Fairly useful handicap chaser in 2024/2025. Drops into Class 5 company for first time having offered little in pair of hurdle starts 6 months apart this year.
Royal Rhythm (IRE)
Capitalised on much-reduced mark at Worcester (2½m) prior to following up in small-field Fontwell handicap last month. Now 2 lb higher than when well-held fourth behind a couple of next-time out winners at Uttoxeter latest, however, he's back in a 0-100 and has won here previously.
Drop Kick (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o. Improved when successful on handicap debut over C&D last November. Placed on 4 subsequent handicap starts (including couple of good efforts here) prior to a forgivable end-of-season run on heavy ground at Hexham. Solid claims if ready to roll.
Fourofakind (IRE)
Fallen long way in the weights since completing Perth double in September 2024. Clear step back in the right direction when dropped into this grade on return at Cartmel (2¾m, 14/1) in July. Needs a second look back over a more suitable trip.
Vanilla Dancer
Hit the frame on 6 consecutive starts last season, including breakthrough success at Catterick (2m) in February. Should be all the better for her comeback run at Sedgefield last month and went close off this mark (in a small-field event) last season.
Is She Now (IRE)
Thrived on the Flat after joining current yard this summer (successful 3 times). Busy spell probably a factor for first misstep at Musselburgh in late-August. Given 8-week break and looks potentially interesting on first hurdle run for present stable.
Dusky Days (IRE)
Successful in Cartmel novice handicap (17f) off this mark last summer. Didn't scale those heights this time around, more severe headgear failing to spark a revival on his latest start there. Now back in usual cheekpieces following 7 weeks away.
Getaway Master (IRE)
Saw off Drop Kick with ease over C&D last November. Promised more than he delivered final start last season before being given a considerate return to action at Cartmel (25f) in late-August. Now 2 lb below his latest winning mark and makes plenty of appeal with Brian Hughes aboard for first time.
Jack Dempsey
Lightly-raced maiden. Didn't build on a relatively promising handicap debut when down the field (again finished tamely) at Perth (2m) in June. Questions to answer back up in trip.
Brave Move (IRE)
Maiden whose best effort came when third in 3m Taunton handicap last November. Form subsequently went wrong way for Fergal O'Brien yard. Bit to prove starting out for new handler following 4 months away.
Order Another One (IRE)
Off the mark in Irish points at seventh attempt. Seemingly brought along with handicaps in minds, however, she didn't improve/sustain her effort when well-held third of 6 at Hexham (2½m) on return from 10 weeks off.
Knockeranna Rose (IRE)
Maiden who posted several creditable efforts in defeat last season. Similar story when 3¾-length second on return at Hexham (2½m), no match for winner on the run-in having made most. Ought to remain competitive with a run under his belt.
Joto
Maiden who was popular in the market when third in a pair of novice events at Doncaster/Catterick last winter. Hasn't fired in a couple of starts this season, latterly well-held fifth at Sedgefield (2½m, 20/1). Now 2 lb out of the handicap but has at least gone well for this claimer previously.
