Timeform View

POPULAR DREAM saves his best for C&D and can defy a 5 lb rise to win here for the second time this month. One For Harvey got the better of Mimime when the pair met over C&D last month and both are respected again with the latter having scored since.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Popular Dream traded at a high of 2.60 and Betfair SP of 2.66 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Popular Dream
Gained a fifth C&D victory when cosily capitalising on a reduced mark in an 11-runner handicap 16 days ago by 1¾ lengths from Crypto Quest. Still feasibly treated after 5 lb rise.
One For Harvey
Took a couple of starts to find her feet for this yard but bounced back to her best to resume winning ways in a 12-runner C&D event 35 days ago by 1½ lengths from Mimime. Has to be taken seriously despite wide draw.
Twilight Madness
C&D winner late last year and added to his tally at Bath in April. Has not been in the same form since, however.
Fletcher's Flight (IRE)
Took advantage of a reduced mark on what was effectively his second start for this trainer at Chepstow in June and returned to form having slipped back in the weights when third of 10 in handicap at this C&D 19 days ago. Place claims again.
Desdemona
Gained back-to-back 5f all-weather wins in the winter but arrives out of sorts, beating only one in handicap at Windsor (5f, good to firm) last time.
Man On A Mission
Close second here towards the end of April before readily going one place better over C&D 3 days later. Weak in the betting and down the field both starts in May, so best watched returning from 154 days off in cheekpieces.
Mimime (IRE)
Lightly-raced filly is improving steadily, chasing home One For Harvey on her penultimate outing before progressing further to win a 9-runner handicap at this C&D (2/1) 26 days ago. Player again after 9 lb rise.
Aleppo Pepper (IRE)
Better for Yarmouth return and ran well fitted with a tongue tie when fourth at Newcastle (5f) on Tuesday. Could have a race in her on that showing.
Midnight Lir (IRE)
On a long losing run but hasn't been disgraced of late, not getting a clear run when sixth of 10 in handicap at this C&D 19 days ago. Frame claims.
Crypto Quest (IRE)
Off for nearly 2 years before returning in late August but returned to form when second of 11 to Popular Dream at C&D earlier in the month. Not given a hard time after putting himself on the back foot at Newcastle last week, so no surprise if closer to form here.
Ezra Cee (IRE)
Free-going sort who clearly hasn't been the easiest to train. Well below form all 3 starts for present yard.
She Went Whoosh (IRE)
Failed to beat a rival on 5 of her last 6 starts. Impossible to fancy.
Lil Wade (IRE)
Of no interest at present. First start for 146 days.
