Timeform View

Two-time course winner EVERYONEKNOWSADAVE looks the percentage call in a competitive-looking handicap. The dangers are headed by Flightofthephoenix and Sigliosa, who have both shaped with promise in defeat recently, with Celestias Comet another to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Flightofthephoenix has traded at more than 2 times Betfair SP twice when winning during its last 5 starts: Twilight Moon traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Everyoneknowsadave (IRE)
Built on early-season promise when winning at Nottingham in July prior to going close off this mark over C&D the following month. Looked ready for a return to this trip when beaten 4½ lengths in a higher grade at Redcar (1¼m). A third course success could be in the offing.
Mao Shang Wong (IRE)
Landed a third career success in this grade at Beverley (1¼m) in May. Posted another solid effort when 2 lengths third in a selling handicap over the same C&D latest. Tries this intermediate trip for the first time, having previously seemed stretched by 1½m.
Optician
Four-time all-weather winner at Wolverhampton (also gone close here). Largely remained in good form following a first turf victory at Doncaster (1½m) in June, however, he ran no sort of race faced with soft ground for the first time in a while at York on latest start.
Sigliosa
Lightly-raced maiden. Shaped quite well on all-weather/stable debut and again when smooth-travelling third at Chester (1½m) last month. Reportedly hung off the bridle when 3 lengths fourth at Nottingham (1¼m, soft) subsequently. Still early days for current yard and unexposed on this surface, too.
Flightofthephoenix (IRE)
Hold-up type who belatedly got off the mark at Kempton in August before following up at Ffos Las. Has been shaping up well in a couple of C&D starts more recently and likely in good enough form to win from this sort of mark if things drop kindly.
Celestias Comet (IRE)
Landed the odds in course novice last autumn. Readily opened her account in handicaps at Nottingham in early-July and right back to her best when smooth-travelling second at Nottingham (1¼m) latest. Well worth another go over this slightly longer trip, too.
Twilight Moon
Won successive Lingfield (all-weather) handicaps in December/April. Back on her latest winning mark when creditable 2¾-length fourth of 6 on return to that track last time. May again find a few too good at the weights.
Pomme Pomme (IRE)
Winless since completing a 5-timer in June last year. Failed to be revived by first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Bath (1¼m) latest. May again be able to get to the lead but doesn't look in the form to capitalise.
Rodoya (IRE)
Fairly useful winner of 1½m maiden in France. Long way below that level in 5 starts for current yard, though latest 7-lengths fifth at Newcastle wasn't totally devoid of promise. Not one to totally write off from 3 lb lower.
Bint Al Daar
Hasn't really got competitive since ending a long losing run back against her own sex over C&D in March (now 3 lb lower). Failed to back up a more promising effort when trailing the field over a longer trip at Goodwood (1¾m) latest.
Golspie (IRE)
Snapped a lengthy losing run in a lower grade over C&D last month. Only ran to similar level when 1¼ lengths fourth of 6 at Wolverhampton (1½m) last time. Races off the same mark in a slightly deeper race here.
